Title: Element Order

So lets say I have a Rudra Bow (Holy) with Crystal Arrows (Water) and a Fire Endow.

Which element overrides the others?

I *THINK* the endow overrides it all.

Fire endow will override the other 2

as for rudra and arrow, I am not very sure x___x

but i once heard someone say that it's useless to use other arrow with rudra cause it's holy prop? o.o
so maybe it overrides arrow Dx

Okay, so disregard the endow.

Which overrides the other, Crystal Arrow or Rudra Bow?

Crystal arrow overrides, and your bow will shoot kittens instead of arrows.

Okay, that's good. I heard Thor if pretty easy to do with mid-range gear if you can trap properly and I only have a Rudra Bow.

So, Jakk Garment, fire armor, Crystal arrows, what else? Mid-range gears, remember.

I'm not sure about shoes but if you can get DL shoes/boots would be good, mysts would be another option.


And the element overwrite:

If Rudra + Neutral property arrow = Holy property from Rudra
If Rudra + Any other elemental arrow = Arrow's Element
If Rudra + Any arrow + Endow = Endow's I think (like said posts above me)


What's with Hunter/Sniper class today..it's getting really popular nowadays.  ???

Pretty much, yeah.
If I'm on a lower level hunter I'll normally trap then lay down one more trap in front of me, just in case.

What should I be aiming to kill down there? Also, how far away do I have to be from a monster so I don't die?

On lower levels, like an archer without traps, I try to stay as far away as I can get from everything. Like 10 squares or something.
With it trapped I'm comfortable enough to be 3-5 squares away from a Kasa, Imps I just tank if they get to close, Salamanders I like to be at least 5 squares away if it's not trapped, and I tend to avoid the guardians unless I manage to trap them or get them in a corner.
Trial and error though, figure out where you're comfortable /ok

I, personally, go mostly for Kasa and Salamanders and tend to ignore Fire Imps. :3

What about magic skills like meteor storm? Those can still hit you even if the monster is trapped.

Too poor to get a GTB ;~;

You'd hopefully be killing them before they managed to cast anything, lol.
You can see where meteor shower is being cast, so just being outside it's zone is good. I usually tele when they go to spiral unless I know I have the hp to live though it, and you can see that skill being cast as well and have enough time to fwing or something. I don't get hit much, if at all, by fireball while wearing jakk muffler and fire armour. And fire pillar is fine, just don't walk into it! xD

I find that if I'm getting hit by anything other then a melee attack, I'm not taking to much damage. Fire Imps are really the only thing that do any real damage if they get close enough.

I'll see if I can do this. Last time I went there, I got one-shotted by those Byrogues.

Orc Archer bow + steel arrows+ water endow = can hurt alot more then Rundra with crystal arrows :3

I haven't tried trapping Kasa since the switch but since they are boss type monsters now, they wont stay trapped for very long. Be careful and always remember to put two traps down in the monsters path.

Not if its Ankle Snare.

I would preffer to lay down traps (2-3) and like, lure the kasa to them, it always works if you are not timed enough to trap when the thing rushes towards you.
one warning though, if you DS from too far away, the Kasa can tele, so don't be really so far.
