Title: Versatile Weapon~

So. I decided that I was going to buy a Bapho weapon because I want to level up my merchants past being stubby little useless merchants.

I don't really like mobbing (except on like, my HP) all that much, I usually get my money via farming. As such, I'm not really sure what would be the most useful weapon to get for this purpose. I'd like something that might be useful to classes aside from Blacksmith.

I see the most popular weapon is a DBSS mace, but it seems awfully wasteful. It uses a lot of MVP cards on a pretty weak weapon, so I'm wondering if there are any superior alternatives? I'd probably be using it, at the very least, on a Blacksmith and a Champ. Perhaps my Crusader as well. I guess I'd like something that my Assassin can use as well since I don't own any other Doppel weapon.

A DDPB is the best all-around weapon you could ask for if you were wanting to train.  It can be used on everything but acolytes, taekwons boy/girl/gladiators, and gunslingers.

Why Phree? What would you be mobbing that actually has enough flee to dodge?

Also I plan on using my Vanberk card, which apparently has the ability to allow you to Crit on mobs, so I don't think I'll need the extra hit?

Maybe DDBS instead?

Then again, I might actually use it to try to make some money on my Blacksmith while I'm leveling it, so I would like to be anle to kill quickly.

I'd like a little more input on the matter before I decide.

Phreeoni for any monster, any level. Like I said, if you want versatility the DDPB is your best choice.

Ahh. Well, I also have to take into account the fact that I'm not rich.

Will I be able to find someone else selling one of those? I can get a DBSS for like 55m if someone is desperate enough, whereas if I have to buy all the MVP cards for that it'll cost me ~75m.

I saw two sold in the last week but I can't remember the prices at the moment. I'll ask what the one seller sold her's for tomorrow.

If you want to focus on a blacksmith then you'll have to go DBSS for best damage output and like you said, they can be found favorably cheap at the moment.  But when you decide to level up different characters it'll be a bit slower. If you can find a DDBS like you mentioned that'd help out with the merchant stages atleast.  Then your only decision comes down to dagger or mace. Acolytes versus archers basically [only affecting a DDBS weapon, DBSS has to be mace for adrenaline rush] /heh

Hmm...

DDBS would allow me to get 190 ASPD on my Champ, too. It seems like the best choice to me, since I really don't think I'll need a Phree if I use Vanberk, since crits never miss.
