Title: weird issue with setup
Post by: y8ycgl on June 15, 2010, 06:28:06 pm
im having some issues with playing. the patcher runs and then the setup will come up and ask for settings and whatnot. i click ok and it just pops up again. it continues this without the game opening. i took a look and animus.exe is running as well as setup.exe.... only way to kick out of the loop is to close animus.exe through task manager.
running off a pen drive. never had this issue before. O_o

This means you don't have administrator rights and hence can't modify the registry on that computer, and since the registry is where Setup saves the settings, it'll simply try and fail repeatedly. No workaround.
Credit to whoever told me this, I don't remember. ._.
