Thanks everyone I will surely ask for help if the need arises (Btw) for a new acolyte any tips??
without gears best thing to do is find someone else new party up make friends and share exp and through the maps u share time with battling you will both have a benefit leveling each other and gaining experience in playing the game as a team. I would say payon dungeon from 1-30 as a Novice then 30-40 in orc dung then 40-60+ in prison

Hi, and welcome to Animus! As for tips...if you haven't played Ragnarok Online before, I'd say go through the tutorial, since you get some novice starter equipment that will be useful for the early levels, as well as a bunch of healing potions. I usually stay as a novice until base level 25-30, since the starter equipment is really nice. It also makes leveling your first job easier if you have some levels on your character.
Other than that, the first area that a lot of people go to level in when they switch to their first job is Payon Dungeon, which you can access through the Warp Girl. Also, spend some time thinking about what job you'd like to be, since you'll be playing characters for a while, and it makes the game more enjoyable if you're using a class you really like ;3

Sadly i missed all that advice about leveling up as a novice and changed myself into an acolyte extra early >.< (I've been playing for 2 weeks just made a forum account) but payon dungeon helps with the leveling! just huffing it alone makes it extra difficuot

Since you're an acolyte, I'd recommend using the Heal skill in Payon (if you aren't already), since it'll be the quickest way to take down the undead there. Just put your skill points into Heal, and enable the noshift option either through your Command menu (Alt+Y) or by typing /noshift into chat; this lets you force Heal enemies without having to press shift. Then heal away :3
Also, Blessing and Increase Agility are great buffs, so putting points there would be a good idea. Just remember to keep refreshing your buffs when then start running out.
Keep in mind you that you don't always need to use the maximum level of Heal...it's more SP efficient to use a Heal that does just enough damage to take down weaker undead in one hit, rather than using the maximum level and over-killing enemies like Skeletons. Play around with different Heal levels in Payon, and you'll see some enemies can go down with a low-level Heal, while others require a max Heal.
