Title: Hallucination effect
Post by: paladin181 on June 02, 2010, 07:30:03 pm
Is it supposed to be disabled? Why is it? Takes some of the difficulty out of managing the few areas where it normally occurs (TF2 for example)

I thought it was disabled by default, simply because it's so fricking annoying? I heard there was a problem with that in Windows 7, though.

No, it's simply disabled by the client (I was the one who hexed it). It certainly makes certain areas easier, but considering how it is nearly impossible to navigate while under hallucination effect ... I always thought hallucination was simply supposed to make your screen blurry, as well as the weird damage numbers that pop up, but in fact, it creates huge "lag spikes", and I somehow think that isn't supposed to happen, and it's Gravity who messed this up and never fixed it. ???

Is it possible to code hallucination differently, like if you click one way, the character goes the opposite?
