Title: Weather Effects

I searched for 'weather' and all I got was people misspelling whether.  ::)
I followed this guide to try and add weather effects: http://www.eathena.ws/board/index.php?showtopic=235423
I copied the etcinfo.txt out of abdata and placed it into my data folder, adding these weather lines.

Hi Myew :D

Only snow and sakura seem to be working, at least on the client side. None of the others appear to implement any sort of weather effects when I tested them.

i think mines are rather leaves @_@

i have no idea how i got them, suddenly they were there and when i relogged they disappeared but i will take a look at it later.

for some reason only the sakura petals work for me, in every town but i cant get the others to work  :(

works, I know since I tested them some time back. "Fireworks" just gives a few "BANG" sounds from time to time. I'd love to have seen rain, but apparently, it's something that was never implemented by Gravity, or maybe it is one some of their servers. :/

So fireworks doesn't have any sort of visual effect? Just the sound? Darn, I was hoping for some pretty fireworks to look at from time to time /ok

but the effects up there on my screenshots are obviously leaves. i didnt modify anything, i have no idea where they come from and they disappeared as fast as they appeared. since then ive never seen them again. any clue? xD

I am not really sure, since I tested this some time ago, but I think, there was a small firework explosion, it didn't happen very often, though.

Ah wait, you didn't do anything, and they suddenly appeared? XD Maybe some Sakray/RagRE stuff/event, or I bet Zone hacked you and modified your files.

Ive had prontera setup to where it had sakura tree leaves fall from trees only, and the trees were pink leaved, but as far as snow, No way. I ran a custom rain effect on my personal test server, and it pretty much ate system resources doing so.
