Title: Why is it the patcher does not work?

I am sure everyone is tired of having to run client after patching, so what really is causing this error?

Well , i got no problem, better update your anthem patch and check sakray updated or not....

Perhaps it's my method, but some people using the "official" methods experience it too, so I don't know =/

Mine used to have that problem. Until I downloaded the new patcher client. Just replace your patcher with this one. It works fine, patches fine, and start button goes right to client /heh

Crap, that one actually fixed it. Thanks Denia, I'll get working on a new MiniSetup.

No, not the FTP error, when it closes when you hit start.

That's odd, I just replaced it on this computer (one that I had that problem with), and it worked fine for me afterwards (the client window popped up like it normally should). If you haven't replaced your patcher with that one, give it a shot.

I will talk with Talis about it though.

I still get the error after the patcher loads "adata.gpf is not a valid gpf or lhx file"
I tried to get the file from the ftp server and it said I dont have the priveledge to copy it lol.

And i keep getting timed out at filefront , is it possible to upload the patch for manual patching at a site like rapidshare.de?

Yeah, download the one she posted, it'll fix it.

Delete the old anthemPatch before you copy the new one into the folder.

That's the latest adata file, however, it does not contain any kind of sprite patches. This will overwrite your old adata.grf and you will not need to patch since apparently you are getting an error when you try to patch your AnthemRO client.

Thats cool Denia /kis Thankies , since due to management exams I was unable to attend Xmas completely. I need the new patch since I do have a magi in my possession :) I ll try patching this. I am able to download this so thats a good sign .
