Title: Old Valk sprite
Post by: bLitzkr!eg on May 19, 2010, 12:22:30 pm
I used the old valk sprite file that I saved on my desktop and extract it on my animus ro file, but when I tried opening up my client, it gives me data.in error. It's the same file that I used with the old server and it works just fine. Any suggestion what I should do, or gives me a new link to the old valk sprite that will work on the new AnimusRO client?

Thank you mucho mucho <3

I used the same .grf file a long time ago. It works fine for me.

I see the super awesome amazing Valk Helm that was based on Valkyrie Profile. Maybe Talis and the GMs like that game. I know I find it to be amazing. :D

maybe because I only have the mini-installer not the full-installer?

If thats the case ill have to delte the mini and Download the full installer. ( I hope thats not the case. Its a hassle DL'ing again and again and again sigh)

The old valkhelm.zip that you could download from my mediafire link is outdated, since the data.ini in there still says "adata.grf", and not "abdata.grf", and doesn't include a "rdata.grf" entry.

Make sure your data.ini says:
Code: [Select]
[data]
0=abdata.grf
1=rdata.grf
2=sdata.grf
and if you want to use the valkhelm.grf, change it to:
Code: [Select]
[data]
0=valkhelm.grf
1=abdata.grf
2=rdata.grf
3=sdata.grf

No need to reinstall anything.

Does this still work? I changed my data.ini to the above format but I see no change.

Do you have the valkhelm.grf inside your Animus folder?
