Title: Banned from forums problem!

so i don't get how this happens to me.

i commute to college, so i have to use the schools WiFi, and this happens when at school and every place that i end up using their WiFi. i can only use the forums when i am at home.

i use my laptop to use the forums and i only have this issues with my laptop. when i use any desktop anywhere it doesn't happen. how can i prevent this ?

and when i try to log in instead of Guest it says my log in zyebeth

Oh, that's because one of our members was IP banned from our forums for posting inappropriate content. He tried to ban evade by posting at his school (and most likely yours too) so we had to ban the IP he was using, which was probably the WIFI IP you're using.

but then it wouldn't happen in other places. like coffe houses that i go. even chain stores that offer WiFi.

i was able to delete my browsing history in internet explorer  and use them but not anymore.

Whenever you use a WiFi, you get a different IP address.  Ie: Your school's IP is different than your home's IP.  Aparently, the School's IP is blocked from the forums because, as Lucifel said, someone tried using the School to evade a Forum Ban, so they had to Ban/Block EVERY IP that that person used. 

Aparently, AceJay went to your school and used the same WiFi that you're using when he came on the forums.  The coffee house and other stores aren't blocked because he probably didn't use them.

Is that a little clear? =\ 

Maybe ask them to lift the Ban from the school IP?  Although I'm not sure if they'll do that.  That will resolve your problem and allow you to log in through your school's WiFi.

If you're using another place's WIFI and still find yourself blocked, you could try clearing your cache as well, that ought to do the trick :3

yeah... how do i clear my cache?

cause it does happen every where i use free WiFi,

BUT!!!!   it also happen the on my trip down to south carolina from new jersey. so about what?... 5 states?  by car and used different places, so the whole I live near AceJay doesn't make sence if i go to places out of state. i guess it has to do with the cache thingy i guess?

What browser are you using? I'm guessing IE? To clear your cache, go to Tools (at the top right corner) --> Internet Options --> General tab --> Browsing History section

Click on "Delete" and select "Temporary Internet Files".

didn't work. still says that i get an error. at the moment the way i can use forums is if i use InPrivate IE, which i open by ctrl + shift + p, it's a safety feature of IE that is under safety on the top right side.

Hmm. InPrivate IE more or less removes your history, cache, cookies, etc. You can try clearing Cookies too (but that'll clear all your saved passwords, so make sure you know them before you do that XD). If that doesn't work either, then I really don't know. You could try clearing the other options too, but I don't think they're causing the problem.

Have you tried using another browser to access the forums? One that you've never used at school on your laptop? If your cache was preventing you from logging in, you'd be able to if you used another one.

Maybe its a general IP Ban for say, that area maybe? I know of a certain forums banning Mini Mage's entire country because of some of the shit he did.

Ive been to that area as well, went to Panera Bread, and went on herr (via i touch)
