most of the hunters/snipers i see in thors trap the monster, get to a safe distance and then DPS them to death.

they also use crit lock or 190 aspd lock

Trap + DS is a faster kill. Kasas don't have incredibly high def.

yh when my sniper was a hunter I used trap.Only need 1 trap so its ok.

Isnt it dependant on how much crit you have? At least I was told if you have artemis+valk then you'll have enough crit for it to be worth not DS spamming.

well i didn't have any crit gear at all and sometimes if i stood very far back i didn't even need use trap.But i had 190aspd

I just trap them and DPS them to death  :-[

Yea Pasana Coat > mob the Kaasa / Fire Imp in your Trap>
put a 2nd or 3rd Trap for being sure and then Double Strafe it.
It works in beta with noob gears too ;)
i just used a Hunter bow

Oh I know. I wasnt saying you cant kill without crit, only that it is DS is the faster way unless you have full crit gears. But DS'ing is so much work not many people bother xD I know I dont~

Umm i think just normal attacking was same as DS for me because of the cast delay and its waste of SP to :-\

u need be at leats 90 if u dont have alot gear(trap + DS to kill it) that give some cost(sp & restaurative items)
or u have alot gear?, get crit and it could be easy

Yeah gear helps alooot.
Like i started Thor at level75.But if u had crit gear you could start lower(i think)

Wrong.
With good gears and skills, you can got there waaay before you hit 90.
Besides, after 80+, they don't give a lot of exp.

Depends - if you're dying a lot I suggest you Crystal arrows better (in terms of zeny).
Also, the Arrow Crafting list is updated now, it its pretty easy to obtain Crystal arrows now with a bit of hunting. /no1

I found it easy 2 get them from when i used make bloods on bio for fire endow in niff.Found 120 crystal blues.
Only 30 left now though :(

Yeah.Cyfars are only really good for people starting off, its just less bother buying the arrows and it wont be to bad for people starting off sense you can just sell the loot.
