Title: Pet Image.. /omg
Post by: Papercut the Madhatter on March 22, 2010, 08:48:00 pm
I just got my Garm Pet, and it looks like a Poring! DDD:
Does anyone know how to fix this?

You can't.

The GMs basically made a copy of Poring Pet Files to make custom pets and thus any custom pet will talk like a Poring...though you can customize it to not sound like a Poring BUT it's pointless since you will be the only one who will see the edit.

It can be changed actually, but they would need to have good images to use.

I'm pretty sure, yeah. Extract your sdata.grf and head to: data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º\illust

There you'll find the images.

You will need to extract your sdata.grf, with something like GRF Factory or something (there are some to be found on RMS). Then look for the right path and you'll find your images. Making new images is a bit more tricky, though... basically you have to make a new GRF with the new files with the right filenames in the right folders.

I think I'll just stick to Not having one of those pets. xD
Thanks, though.
