Title: What must I do to Not D/c?
Post by: Papercut the Madhatter on March 17, 2010, 05:02:45 pm
Every time I go to Niff and attack my mob, I d/c.
On my brother's laptop, I never d/c'ed. So, it must be my computer or it's graphic card or something...
Could anyone help?

Every. Single. Time. xD
Like, I get a mob, hit it Once. It freezes up and I d/c. When I log back in, I'm in Prontera with 1HP. xDD
And like, repeat.

Its most likely your graphic card then. Try upgrading the graphic driver as well. See if the second one fix your problem or not.

So, you're saying I'll only D/c ONCE when I log in, then it'll all be fine?

But it seems like paper doesn't just disconnect once and become d'c free.

How do I upgrade it?
Right click on "My computer" and left click "manage". Then double click the device manager. Graphic driver should be under system, but I could be wrong. If you're able to find the graphic driver, right click it, and click update. It should search for update for you or send you to a link.

I hope that helps.

Maybe the person's pc is too old or out of date. Even though my computer is couple of years old, but I don't have problem with big mobs, not unless I'm dual clienting and both being in the same place.

paper, how old is your pc or when did you last upgrade it? Or there's something wrong with the graphic card. Its still better to have a computer expertise input about it.

It's a 2000 Desktop. Dell Windows PC.
I've tried to update my video card, but it says it's the highest it can go. D:

It could just be that or unstable internet service meaning the bars are jumping up and down or numbers changing from one to the other.
