Title: Sleipnir with HPrecovery
Post by: 0ur0bur0s on February 21, 2010, 11:18:22 am
Should Sleipnir-users benefit from getting a 15% HPrecovery buff added to it?

With most people slotting DarkLord cards in their sleips (maxHP+50%), the HPrecovery increase the natural healing rate and potency of healing items by a very small margin. Great for PvM levelling. /no1

Did you mean 15% SP recovery?
SP/HP recovery =/= Potency of healing items. They are two separate things.

Sp would be better. Make it a sleip + eddga bonus ;D?

The potency of healing items is only increased by the HP recovery skill of the swordsman :)
I understand why you were buying those cards now XD Most of them had HP recovery % to them.

@kolela

Sleipnir already has a 15% SPrecovery in it. I want 15% HPrecovery added to it as well.

@secks (Hi Davey! say hi to duracelle for me? :D )

As much as I'd love that, our SQIs are made for WoE. Eddga is useless on WoE, so I doubt that will ever happen.

@razer

HP and SP recovery cards only adds a small amount in the potency of healing items. Like an extra 10 or 20 HP per healing item (I've only tried this on meat since I'm cheap :P ).

As for the cards i bought from you earlier, I can only use blue acidus for its Sprecovery rate because it's a headgear card. Even them I won't use it.

Gold acidus - which has both HP and SP recovery - is a footgear card, and the natural HP recovery I'll get once I wear DL sleips would be lower. Muka cards (accessory: hprecovery +10%) and Wooden Golem (armor: hprecovery +30%)better.

They don't really add any bonus to healing items at all. Healing items are merely based off of a %age of your maximum HP/SP and/or your VIT/INT rating. (Plus cards that specifically boost the healing rate with particular items.)

I.E: For each 6 INT you gain 1% in natural SP recovery.

Natural HP/SP recovery on the other hand, is just a slight boost in the HP/SP return you get during each tic interval. Which is also based on a %age of your maximum HP/SP.

Maximum HP and SP only boost recovery if you have talents that give regen based off of them.  Without talents, it is solely based off of Int and Vit reguardless of what you HP or SP maxium is at the time.
