With MDEFpierce ability (courtesy of HighWizard card) currently existing in Anthem, would changing TwinFangs+Valkhelm combo buff to have a flat MDEF bonus of 15 be beneficial than having small elemental resistances?

2-Hand Katar: ATK 140, DEF 3, +15AGI / +16 DEX, +12% more dmg with crits, +25% Dmg On Insect, Weight 150, 50% more dmg on Demi-Human types.

[Valk Combo] = +5% Resistance to Fire and Water, and +15% Resistance to Earth and Wind > MDEF+15
[Myst Combo] = +15% Damage to Ghost, +50% Immunity to Stun, +10% Max HP.

Why does TF not have a flat 15% fire, wind, water and earth elemental reduction?

umm no? if someone uses a HW against you it's still going to pierce that 15 mdef? with the resistance it reduces the magic attack no matter if they have a HW card or not plus i think it also reduces damage from other sqis like nib? (i think /ok)

Even with garmets+ combo it still not that realiable reduction like Toad card.

Reductions are better at reducing magic attacks than Mdef with against a HW user. Plus, it's more universal.

Exactly. I don't see how anyone can bitch considering we can get a solid 85%+ elemental reduction from fire/water already...


@ New question; WoE/PvP related IMO. Acid Demo and CT/Spirals. Small reduction from SG, but if you're DPSing and someone SG's anyways w/o Marc/ED on then you're frozen and can't even use the TF so... you might as well have an unfrozen wind/water armor and use the wind/earth reductions to your benefit.
