Title: AnthemRO Wiki News?

Hmm not sure if this is the proper forum to ask this question, but here it goes.

I know a while back there was talk of an Anthem Wiki. Has there been any progress or news on this?

The project was canceled around the time when Isuzu left staff, I think (was during the time when I was no GM). We're planning on resuming the work sometime, probably after the event, but no guarantees, and before anyone asks, it's not like immediately after the event, the wiki will pop up. @_@

Thanks for the update! :)

Then I'd like to mention that I'd love to be able to help out in any way I could if/when the project gets underway again. I'd love to see an AnthemRO Wiki, I think it would be tremendously helpful for old and new players alike, as well as providing an imperative resource of information specific to AnthemRO (quests, for an example).

For a lot of items you can check the item shop?
It shows a lot of gears and cards and has a description for each (though it doesn't say which monster drops them or at what rate :P)

it would be one amazing feature!! people would be ablee to edit it to. there are some risks witht that but i would say it really is worth a shot

Most likely, it will be a compiled place for information rather than a free-for-all edit encyclopedia.

I'd be more appreciative with information specific to AnthemRO quest lines and item-making ingredients. I never know when I may need to keep something or throw it out, so my storage is constantly filling up. I feel that such information should be imperative to new and old players of Anthem alike, so that we may be able to fully enjoy the unique experience of the server. :) That's what I'm looking forward to.

well isn't wiki just able to be edited by people registered with the server. for that i would ask for well know players to only have access to the edit part of the game. that way the moderators of the site will be able to see who edited what parts of the wiki, because we all know RO has so much stuff that people know and maybe so much more that people don't know. for that reason i am sure that if wiki is to be done, it will sure be a huge task and time consuming project just for the GM team.

Maybe it can be disabled to edit then? Yuyuko is making a valid comment here. If edits were able to be made on this Wiki, then people could delete or possibly make false information on this website. The goal on this website would be for informational uses. Not some type of site where you can put your random stuff on for no reason.

or maybe as with wikipedia they should approve of the information submitted (which is a function in all wiki's i know of...) that way we wont have any false info in it...

Or heck, maybe even something else other than a wiki. A searchable database webpage of some sort with a very simple outline?

Either way, I do agree with the fact that the wiki should not be so easily edited by the players. Facts have a tendency of turning inside out when they become second-hand information.
