Okay... I'm gonna sound liek a noob but whatever...

So I just finished getting my DBTT Katana on my knight (TT for when i get nibel, just gonna de-card)

but my atk isnt showign any boost other than the katana itself, does anybody know whatsup with this?  ???

It doesn't show on your Stats, it shows on your final damage.

It doesn't show on your Stats, it shows on your final damage.

Also, the damage boost you get from Turtle General Card doesn't work with splashed damage.

That's correct.

I can't think of any % cards that do show up in the calculation.  

I know a few websites have calculators for final damage and such if you're interested in that, though.  It may or may not be exact, but it should be very close.

1) Turtle Generals or any PERCENT increasing cards do not splash with Bapho.
2) The increase in damage from Turtle General would not show within the Stat window.

Basically you wanted a DSSB +10 Katana for melee mobbing, however a +10 DTTP would have served you better. Bowling bash makes for some impressive mobbing potential assuming you aren't in the gutter lines. Since you have enough for a  DBTT katana, I'm assuming you have either high def gears + Eddga and Deviling or Eddga/Deviling/Bathory/2x SR clips + Monster feed spam. With high vit you should be able to get HUGE mobs in nif. Although you could also get an Ice endow and head to thors.

also, so is my katana pretty much just screwed? :X Should i decard and replace the TGs with Samurai's?

And AALIYAH do you think my katana would be acceptable in thor with an ice endow?

Ah, I'm not too sure how you would fare like this, but on my lord knight I use a +7 Double Beholder(Two peco peco egg cards) two handed sword+ice endow in thors. I hit around 3k at all times in frenzy. Though, as many people say , 1 anubis=2 kasa, so you could go bowling bash mobs of them and stuff :]

Well yea DBTT means that when you use Melee the Tg cards arent being counted for anything and when you use bowlong bash/bash the Bapho card is doing nothing. If you can afford it I would unslot it and either make a DTTP Katana or a DBSS Katana .

DTTP is more preferred in my opinion as Black smiths/White smiths mob better with Melee then Knights can with a DBSS weapon. DTTP = High hit, max aspd with 2HQ and +40% damage on everything. Thats not bad at all, you do lose a shield though.

What do you mean by this? Anubis gives about half the xp of a Kasa. Or am I thinking a different way most people do?

Would a DTTP be better than what takhara suggested with the 2 HS and ice endow for thors? I just hit up nif today and it was epic fail even with 110 str and my dbtt, I barely did 500 dmg if i was lucky... D:

I think he means to say is that 2 KASA's total experience can be as equal as killing 1 ANUBIS, meaning Anubis gives more experience than Kasa so why not killing Anubis instead of Kasa? correct me if im wrong coz thats what i understand...

eh it should be 1 kasa = 2 anubis.
on 5x rate, Kasa gives 245 k base exp 190 k job exp.
Anubis gives 140 k base exp 110 k job exp.
But in term of difficulty, kasa is far more difficult than anubis.
Even with right equipment, kasa still hurts sometimes, on the other hand anubis is very easy with good equip.
My question is...
I can understand smith because they suck at AoE damage without baphomet
but why you even put baphomet on katana, knight got good AoE skill, bowling bash >__>

Nibel is a one handed spear. Unless this has been changed recently without my knowledge.
