They just watch people and then pick him later? I don't know.

It really depends on what position(s) you're looking at. At least on this server. I know other servers they have more specific positions, such as spriter, web designer, forum mod, etc.
Now this is my understanding, GM Isuzu can whap me if I'm incorrect:
- Sub-GM Requirement -
- Other than Customer Service type qualifications (professional, manners, and such)
- Ability to communicate clearly & efficiently
- Common sense, good sense of judgement
- Average to slightly above average understanding of game mechanics
- Adept with computers and/or some sort of technical skill and understanding of "why would the client do X, or why would it do Y"
- Patience
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential matters
- And of course, the ability to not be biased in all situations, and follow the rules "to a T"
- Be able to take constructive criticism and grow from it
Pluses:
- Ability to read and write in another language
- Ability to script
- Fast learner
- High-GM Requirement -
(Other than the sub-GM requirements:
- Ability to analyze data. Creativity, thinking skills, critical thinking, & problem solving skills
- Self-starting personality with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Impeccable organizational ability with an acute ability to prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take something and go above and beyond what is normally required
Pluses:
- Ability to read and write in another language
- Ability to script
- Fast learner
The things that are very difficult to find in a GM are: Common sense, trust worthiness, ability to make non biased decisions, and strong analytical thinking.

I think I applied once, but that was when I was probably half drunk and didn't know what I was doing. /ho

The beauty of not being a GM: you really don't need to follow those guidelines :3 *loves to rant
Lightning was cool, he was just hardly ever around. You were a good forum mod too :) not to mention the most charismatic of all writers on the old artists section :)
Which is probably why they wont pick you to be gm lol
