Title: Bowling Bash help?

I decided I will be using Bowling Bash as my main mob killing skill on my new Knight.
(Spear knights are so overused and if I get a nibel it will be simply used as a buff stick)

I do have spears to help me do some leveling, but I will mainly be using swords.
Preferably my doppel atroce blade I got for 27m

How do you get BB to proc correctly?

I've looked up numerous guides and such with no avail.

Do I need to be standing a few cells away from the monsters? I know if I try to hit them head on sometimes it doesn't work.

Do I need to lure one monster away to send flying with knockback into the rest of the mob?

I want to be able to master this skill. I had an LK before but used a spear build, and decided to remake a 2h flee sword build.

Head on and BB your mob, if it doesnt splash damage, move 5 cells in diagonal in any direction and BB it again.

It seems the skill bugs when you are standing in a cell in which coordinates are a multiple of 4, so you could have /where memo'd or just hit once, it fails, move diagonally 5 cells and kill.

Hmm Ok, I will try this method you mentioned.

Why would Gravity make a skill that you need to be worrying about what cell you stand on and it's a multiple of 4.
Can this be fixed by the GMs?

It's irritating when you have a big mob and get raped because your BB doesn't work.

I'll have to test it 'cuz i cant remember if its multiple of 4 stuff and i tried searching for it, but people use BB and search says

BB hasnt been found >.>;

Edit:
I think its a mistake multiple of 4, I think its multiple of 40 xD

Bowling bash can get annoying to use sometimes. First off when you use it, monsters are pushed back an amount of cells in the direction you last moved, hence why sometimes you see them kinda get sucked towards you, which can screw up your alignment. Secondly each monster hit acts sort of like a bomb, as in, any other monster hit within a 3x3 cell of that monster when it's pushed back will also get hit and turn into a "bomb". This will/can cause a chain reaction in which it can be an infinite amount of hits. Restriction to this is if one of the monsters hit that divisable by 40 line. Monsters cannot cross that line when being pushed back by BB and thus the chain will end. Also if you are standing on a line which is divisible by 40, BB will only strike once and the monsters will not be affected by the knockback effect. Good thing to do is bind /where to alt+1 and use it occasionally while you mob to make sure you aren't near a "40 cell". When you are in a good area, move a step diagonally towards your mob and you'll be good with BB and rape them, especially if you are fighting monsters with an element they are weak to /gg

There's a 3rd party program that shows BB grid line and it's not illegal in the server I play atm.
Too bad it doesn't work on aRO. Good job in V-Shield I guess.

and...blue+red line is glitched grid line where you need to avoid.

Summarizing:
Have /where handy
Dont stand on a cell in which coordinates are a multiple of 40
Dont stand on a cell in which coordinates are 5 numbers above the multiple of 40 (41-45, and so on)
BB the mob.

Making it clear since i think you couldnt use BB correctly
