Pretty soon I'm going to have a scholar I have dex gears and 7m to work with and a devi
What gears should i get? Should i sell the devi? I want a berz would that help?
Things to know: I'm not one of those super rich people and i don't earn zeny all that great..
Can you help?

As you go up in job with a scholar, you tend to need less dex gears for IC (also depends on how much dex you stack---I wear one less sting glove while stating around 80-83? base dex with my kaho/tome. Might even need less now but I haven't tested it recently).
If you have Moonlight Flower/Gargoyle shoes, 2 sting gloves, dex's survivor rod/tome, stem worm muffler, kaho---should be fine.
A berze set would never give you full IC without bragi.
Plus dual berze = 36~40 mil, Dark Illusion mid = ~22 mil, and DL shoes = 20~22 mil = quite expensive to get decent cast reduction in comparison to the IC set.

Moonlight Flower is a MVP card so the shoes seem to be 22~24 mil? I personally had a load of ADs and bought the MF card myself back when I started getting serious about IC and put it in +7 shoes (2 mil).
2 sting gloves --- I farmed the glove (1)s from stings to help level my recently made scholar/professor as well as leveled my bard there a little (fire arrows + bow = /gg). They seem to vary from 6-8 mil per; you can always sell the gloves.
Alternate to MF: Gargoyle - same map---I got this card while farming the glove (1s). I think I sold it for 5 or 6 mil. When in shoes they cost about the same.
Dex Survivor's Rod (dex version) - 1 mil + a drops card I had on hand---probably like 1.1 mil if you buy a drops.
Stem Worm = 3-6 mil depending on refine rate of the muffler its usually in. I bought a +4 for cheap. 3-4 mil I think /hmm
So even at the extreme in price you have = 16 mil (stings) + Gargoyle 6 mil + Dex SR 1.1 mil + Stem Worm 6 mil = 29.1 mil vs around 84 mil (still in the 60 mil range if you remove DL shoes just to get back your HP/SP lost by DI+ the additional HP boost).

i have 2 unslotted gloves i think how much do they sell for
Quadruple drops rod is fine. It gives the same as a dex survivor's rod but without the HP Boost.
I tend to keep it + zerom clips on my super novice.
Unslotted gloves don't really sell for much now. Could try 50~100k. A number of people get them daily out of the OVB they get from the Halloween event.

Zeroms are also coming out the OCA gained from the event in large loads. I think I have 12 or so now (I haven't been grind happy lately)---but I'm sure some players have 100+.
If you sold them, you'd probably get very little since they're not max dex gears. I'd personally just use them until you can get other stuff.
As for selling deviling...
Do you have a deviling yourself? It's largely useful for PvM, so you might want it for another character in the future. It likely won't go up much in price for quite a while since they'll be floating around I'm sure in a much larger dosage than before---but most of the IC is fairly farmable / can be used to help level your characters---so I wouldn't waste money on it.
You could buy stem worm with your pocket change---
and farm stings/gargoyles into your 70s-80s while probably getting what you want.

well i won't be getting the scholar til tomorrow today or friday but maybe my stalker could farm dex stuff while leveling? now your saying i should use a devi muffler or something like don't sell it use it to help make money and get levels?

A stalker should be fine if reasonably geared as long as you don't get stuck in the Stings' Quagmire.
Devi Mufflers are good in general for PvM since most monsters deal neutral dmg; it heavily reduces that damage. I've only personally used them on builds in which I have Vit, however.

As far as I recall, they're mostly neutral property. They have an level 2 earth element attack that occurs at a rate of 30%; I killed them briefly on a monk with a devi without any real pain taken from that type of damage.
As for putting Deviling in an un-upped muffler, I wouldn't advise anything below a +7 because of resale value issues. Plus, the whole thing is---when you wear a deviling muff you're expecting to be hit. So the more defense you have from that muffler the better.

scholar non-IC firebuild mini guide
Skills bolts Firebolt lv 10 : for mavkas obviously Thunderstorm lv 10 : not really required, but helps on mobs, mainly on everything except mavkas Thunderbolt lv 10: for everything thats water there
attack skills If you dont have pest, stone curse lv 10 and stone curse everything that is in your way except mavkas (not sure if they're curse-able since they're earth). If you have pest.... (check below) get cobweb, cobweb + stone curse + firebolt + double casting and you dont imagine the massive dmg it does, you'll be ohKOing most stuff down there with it
active/support skills Health conversion, be sure to take vitata clip with you. Lv doesn't matter Double bolt lv 5 obviously When you have enough job points, get foresight, it gives a decent reduction time even though its cast time is horribly slow, can be canceled and skill only works for 5 skills free cast comes with the pack, so no need to mention it
passive skills you should have everything you need since they're requirement for most of skills mentioned above
gears -since you dont have ic, phen is a must -swap between water armor and pest. why water armor? all the water mobs there like to use waterball quite often, so if you see them casting it. swap to it -horn guard against mavkas, and horn tirf against the rest -your common dex gears ofc, and get one extra when you have enough money for it. osiris clip. you dont imagine how good having warp all times is, mainly when you're farming on moscv dungeon
tactics keep double cast active all time - when wearing pest, wait for stone curse to proc and cobweb > firebolt. if mavka isn't dead already, repeat - when you see anyone with a blue casting , change to water armor asap. thats waterball - horn guards reduce 30% of all ranged attacks, since mavkas are ranged, switch from horn to tirf for the rest mobs
