does it drop a random accessory or a random slotted accessory.

I'm pretty sure its a random accessory, not necessarily slotted. That is IF it's the same as the easter ones.

Yeah.  I got a novice armlet out of my first one.

When I inquired of gulidies who had opened them before----they got like 4-5 of those in a row during
the Easter event, I believe.

Not worth the Stone and PoE, if it was around 10 Stones and 5 PoE per 2 JB's then its probably worth getting at the least.
The Easter Event that was held Early on this year, I rounded up around 2k Jewel Boxes before/after the nerf on Rabbits. After opening all of them, lets just say I didn't even complete a single Brys Slot Set nor a Meg Accessory Set. But you can get something that is exclusive to the Jewel Boxes and that is Nile Rose(1) which is the exact opposite of what a Clip(1) does. Random accessories, but a minimal chance of getting a slotted accessory and or Nile Roses.
