Hey, I have a super novice, and I am hunting the super novice gear set (Angel's set, I need five parts and only have two).

My problem is that the supposed drop rate is meant to be 30% (x3 rate from 10%) off Toad/Mastering/Vagabond Wolf/Vocal/Eclipse.
However, I have only found two parts, the "Angel's reincarnation" (feet) and "Angelic protection" (armor) from Vocal and Eclipse respectively. Yet I have killed at LEAST 15 mastering's, and about 5-6 toads (my god, I had to hunt toad in Zenhai Marsh, because it wasn't spawning in Geffen field) and 3 or 4 Vagabond wolf, and haven't had any other piece drop. IF its 10%, I just wonder why it hasn't been increased like the other drops, and if its 30%, is there something wrong? I dont think my luck could be THAT bad, and I am really sick of hunting (its been about 3-4 DAYS).

If anyone has any ideas, or can tell me if the items aren't dropped by them anymore (I would love to know what DOES drop them) then I would be reallly grateful.

I haven't seen anyone selling them, thats why I have to hunt them.

Nah, they are part of a special equipment set for super novices. I really cant remember where to get them all...darn it. Try ratemyserver.net it really should tell you where to find it all o.O

I know where to find it, its just the Mastering (which I really have killed SO many times, I have lost count) wont drop it, even though its meant to be 30% on this server. LUCKILY I just got the drop off toad 5 mins ago (the headgear) so its just the shield and the garment left... Curse those Mastering... Does anyone know if it DOES drop it? On THIS server I mean

I did hunt one monster has 15% drop chance of an item...
that item only drop 3 times out of 50 killing (6% rofl), making me frustated..
Heck, I am in party killing pasana for 2 - 3 hours, he ever dropped dagger and sword at the same time but not even single undershirt >__>
But another day, I just kill 5 raydric and got his card....
My point is if you want it, keep trying, statistic always fail.
anyway... I don't think that angel set gives the best here...
You can easily get +2000 hp from novice armor and +80 sp from novice egg shell
I'll say just wait until you can wear any headgear (level 91 + link) and be creative.... like mage hat or just kaho horn if you are rich.

I see your point on the item drop thing, but 30% is basically 1 in 3. So the thing should have dropped about 10 times for me, yet hasn't once yet.

As for your comment on the gear, theres one downside: if I keep the novice stuff and just get the novice armor with +2000hp, I basically only get 1 slot for cards. If I get this set, I get another 4 slots, which is far superior. As for the lvl 91 thing, I have to GET to 91 first, and this gear will help, and save me a lot of money as well.

4 slot? I don't understand what you meant, you can easily just buy from npc for alternative equipments..

The only downside you talk is only headgear >__>, well if you have better headgear beside 1 z novice egg shell, please wear it...

There's a probability that the drops have been slightly nerfed?  I'm not sure but keep trying, I know the full set should be implemented /ok.

Yeah, try asking around. I really don't know anyone that has farmed these, but there's people with these equips that's for sure /ok

From what I remember of the equipment set...its all slotted, and gives special boosts when all equipped together at once. Also,

That- it would save you a pretty penny if you are new to the server. I may just try to get on rms in a bit and find what you are looking for, and possibly if I quit being a lazy ass I will hunt it for you . >.>

Sorry for being dumb ass, but seriously... angelic set is not really useful in this server

Angelic Set gives these benefit
(Angelic Protection[1], Angel's Reincarnation[1], Angelic Guard[1], Angelic Cardigan[1] & Angel's Kiss[1])
DEF +10
HP + 1000
SP + 100
MDEF + 20
Reduces damage from demons by 5%.
HP Regen + 5% (negligible)
SP Regen + 3% (negligible)
Chance to autocast Assumptio Lv1 when taking damage. (Assumptio only last for 20 second + small chance of occurrences too,
I doubt it'll be useful, you won't tank often when you are playing novice)

Normal Novice Equip from npc + 1 z novice false egg shell
(Novice Breastplate[1] + Novice Manteau[1] + Novice Shoes[1] + Novice Shield[1] + Novice False Egg Shell / other headgear)
DEF +11 without novice false egg shell or headgear
HP + 2000 (this novice breastplate seriously got buff up, normally on another server, it does nothing)
MAX HP +5%
SP + 80 (Or for the sake of it, you can hunt holden for super novice hat[1] 1.5% drop chance, +1 all stat, or just angel's kiss[1] then slap willow card +80 SP, incubus + succubus +1000 hp +150 sp and some bonus on novice breastplate or something else you like)
Reduce 10% of Neutral Property damage. (more for raydric card effect)
Add a 20% resistance against property attacks (All except Neutral).

The difference between two set are -1000 hp,-5% hp, +100 sp at most and % damage reduction far better than +20 MDEF + small chance level 1 Assumptio.
But headgear can be varied when you are not using angelic set, hence that +100 sp difference would get smaller if you have nice headgear beside above mention.
GM've modified novice breastplate ages ago, please please use it >__>

You can buy everything but the hat (I think) in the item shop.
Each equip costs 1 ad.
