Title: MVPing
Post by: Mr.Ryan69 on October 26, 2009, 03:33:35 pm
Is there anyway I can report people who keeps stealing the loots from the MVP I MVPed?

Cuz freaken :lkariya: and his buddy Lethal Entity (both from darkness falls) keeps stealing the loots and I'm the one who MVPd and they're just there sitting and watch me kill the MVP(in lh3 btw) and when the MVP dies then run into the loots and pick them up while i fwing(bcuz if I dont ill die /swt) by the time i get back the loots are gone >.> .They did that to me twice now, and from what i've heard I'm not the only one that they did this to. It piss the shit out of me.

I've had it happen to me once after I MvP'd Garm.  Obviously, the loots aren't as valuable but a similiar practice.

I would assume just documenting it with screenshots as usual would be appropriate.  Obviously showing you killed the MvP /
the players taking the loot after a warning and so forth.  It sounds like it's a bit harder to screenshot though in the case
of having to fwing away though. =/

GM feedback would be appreciated though, I'm sure, in this more unique case.

Not reportable if you see them just walk the mvp to them /ok

That's just so CHEAP, but I doubt it's reportable since MVP loots are free for all. I could be wrong though.

MVP's are free for all, including their loot.  You can use any technique you'd like to keep them from it (this includes icewalling them in if you want).  But they can do it back, so be warned.  Bottom line is MVP and their loot are free for all.

Does this make any difference if they're Bloody Branch summoned?  I killed one that was BB summoned by someone else; I paid for it since I wasn't sure if this general rule applied yet.

Most likely no, I'm not 100% on it, but I believe it's still free for all on bloody branches.  If someone wanted a BB mvp to themselves, they can find a secluded spot SOMEWHERE in all of RO to spawn it.

It's called Free For All for a reason, and you've stolen our MVPs as well in the past... so get used to it pal. /ok

Ah, good to know with a fair amount of certainty.  When I did opt to kill it was because they were blocking up the entrance to Clock Tower with Baphomet and it was killing players trying to go in.

1. keep another char logged in lh3/get a friend and party with lootshare.
2. let your champ die after fwinging away.
3. pick up loots with other char.
4. ???
5. profit.

but yes, screenshot. there's probably a point where it turns into harassment. \o.o/

remember what goes around comes around too. ;3

BTW, it's not our fault Mr Dj died as the Sniper did.  What are we supposed to do, res him so he can loot?  And also, after I did res him he repaid the favor by MPK'ing our guildy we were leeching FIVE times in a row with regular monsters which is in fact against the rules.  He claimed it was an accident, but he was ressing him and doing it over and over so uh no.  Also his claim that we just stand and wait for him to kill it is false, we were attacking the MVPs also so try again with that one. /ok

You're just crying because we won, and you didn't.  Fact is we attacked the MVPs plenty, and were fortunate with the drops.  If you don't like the rules, take it up with the GMs.  I personally leave people alone who start on a LH3 MVP, unless they have disregarded me starting one in the past (which you have, as well as Merc, Mish, and others) so don't pretend to be the good guy here.  FFA for MVPs and MVP drops, deal with it and get over it buddy.

Mr Ryan, stop crying.
This thread won't make scarface look bad...instead you look suck for complaining about losing mvp/loot to others.

Ryan just be quicker to the loot next time.Use tactics like Ice walling them in place or simple dragging the mvp towards them for kicks and giggles ::)

but then again they might cry about being ice walled and try to report and about mpking with a mob/Mvp oh noes,to bad people cant learn to forgive and forget  :'(

what we need here is a big group hug  :-*

I agree there. It's so fun when a Bio uses your ice wall as protection, which means if they're doing the damage you can back off far enough and break the ice wall so the MVP kills them and re-ice wall. I piss a lot of Bios off that way.

Loot is FFA...so don't be afraid to go and loot other people's MVPs too. People keep stealing your stuff? Go and kill another MvP that isn't so camped.
