Title: Joining AnthemRO - help with a few questions

Hi All !!!

I am thinking of joining AnthemRO. I used to play in a different private server with low rate but without any custom item and cards at all. I am excited thinking about having them, but also have some concerns. I am hoping if some of you can help me with a few answers about life in AnthemRO.

- How many active player are there in AnthemRO at any given time?
- How is the game balance with such customs items available? Would items like Kaho's horn make 80% of the population wizzies and champs with instant casts?
- Are there alot beginners in the population or should I expect most of them all having GRs,Kahos,and SQJ items?
- Can someone give me some ideas on how the economy is especially on the custom items
- Are there guilds for new comers like myself?
- oh and, I am using an intel based macbookpro, and thinking of using desktopparrarels + windows xp on it, any one have any idea whether thats works with AnthemRO?

- Are there alot beginners in the population or should I expect most of them all having GRs,Kahos,and SQJ items? except your common beggars that spend all day on pront asking for money, theres a decent ammount of begginers, however they're not easy to find since they're either farming, or trying to lv up
- Can someone give me some ideas on how the economy is especially on the custom items item shop fixes the prices no matter what. as so doppel cards (and most mvp cards) are around 23~25mil and kahos around their 85mil regular and 115mil custom
- Are there guilds for new comers like myself? yes, theres guilds like asterist (social guilds) that normally, well socialize. theres even a merchant guild. if you go through pront and see one *GE* is them (glowstick enterprises). but those are only the most famous, theres always the small guilds where new players experiment being guild leader
- oh and, I am using an intel based macbookpro, and thinking of using desktopparrarels + windows xp on it, any one have any idea whether thats works with AnthemRO? only operative system where RO wasnt working was on windows 7, wich was fixed some months ago. not sure about the mac part though

around 400 including like 50-70 vendors over 500 for woe

- How is the game balance with such customs items available? Would items like Kaho's horn make 80% of the population wizzies and champs with instant casts?
there are plenty of all the jobs cause each class got their SQI, Except some extended classes (ninja, linker, Star Glad) so everyone have fun with their SQI but its expensive getting one 150-200mills uncarded
Champs are strong but theres enough reductions to reduce asura a lot, against magic GTB blocks it all, HW card pierces mdef
WoE is fun with large guilds around
PvP is kinda broken tho and not newbie friendly =/

Lately there's been a lot of incoming new players, you can check the introduction section to see who's new, best way to find is ingame

Not broken, anyone can get them w/o needing to donate with dedication that is, not like other servers where you need to donate for the cool stuff, you can check the shop and see the prices, click on items to read a description, you need a valid ingame ID to see the shop

To buy from there you need ADS (donating currency 1AD=1US$), but you dont need to donate to get themm you can buy them ingame from other players who needs zeny and donates, now 1 AD is around 1mill

- Are there guilds for new comers like myself?
I highly suggest you to make one, there are guilds that help newbies with game mechanics & newbie gear, but would be fun if you gather those newbies yourself, if you need emperium to make a guild pm me(on forums) and ill pass you some

Wow! Thanks all for the promt reply...

here is another one that I forgot to ask
which version of RO is AnthemRO currently using?
It says on the website ver 11.xx, but some info in rms says its actually 12.xx. And is there any plans to go 13 soon?

Aegis platform if I got your question right. One thing for sure...there's a lot of people at prontera if you need direction(ask where is prison, if you're lucky you can make friends there...lots of newbies)
