Title: Question about reflected damage
Post by: JessiTsuki on October 01, 2009, 07:06:52 pm
Say Orc Lord Card, it reflects 30% of physical damage right? So does that mean it's a 30% physical damage reduction to you and done to the attacker, or is it just done to the attacker without the damage reduction to you?

I don't think that it is damage reduction- you only inflict 30% of damage inflicted upon you onto  enemies.

just reflects it back(if u mean this--your equips reduce the damage)

you take 3000, dude gets 900 dmg dealt back

you take 10 000 (asura), he gets hit for 3000

etc. if u reduce the dmg to like...1000, well..300 back lol

What I mean is that, say the attack would have originally done 1000 damage to you, I understand that 300 damage would be done to the attacker, but would it still be 1000 to you or would it be 700? Is the damage done to you reduced by the amount done to the attacker, or does it simply stay the same? If it stays the same I'm not sure if that's really reflection..

The card doesn't reduce the damage.

the 1000 would still stay 1000, just 30% goes to the attacker as well (thorns aura in warcraft for example..)
