Title: I'm thinking of choosing sniper when i trans but..

I'm not sure what i should do. I like sniper a lot and it has to be better than clown.. But i mean my friend says i need a doppel bow if i want to be good. Thing is never in my life could i afford a doppel bow until i get better. What should i do?

Work hard towards your targets? If you want a sniper. And you want to be good then use that as incouragment to work as hard as you can to make money.

You can do it.

yup save up money dont use it! and win snake win!

oh yeah and use a merchant for overcharge if you havent :/
to sell your npc loot with

By the way you're posting, it seems like you don't have a lot to work with, so here are my suggestions.

If you don't already have one. Make a blacksmith or a super novice with Overcharge and Discount. The two skills alone can save you A LOT of money, and can help you accumulate a lot of money as well. Store all your money on that character and DO NOT spend it.

I know from experience walking through Prontera and having to window shop for things I can't possibly afford, or I'm close to affording. Don't let this deter you from your goal and go spend money on crap you don't need at the moment.

Any extra zeny you accumulate should go towards Grape Juice, Meat, FlyWings, etc. for leveling.   

If you want to have the things you want. You need to play frequently. Real Life can be a pain in the ass, but if you put time aside each day for aRO, then you will see profits.

Make a goal for yourself each day. Make a certain amount of zeny. It can be 300k up to whatever you can think of.

If you don't have one, try to make a "Money Maker" character.
In my opinion, good money makers are Priests, Blacksmith, Biochemist, and Knight class.
Rouge is also a good choice seeing as how they have Compulsion Discount and Steal.


As for playing a Sniper...

You don't NEED a doppel bow to be good. It's not MANDATORY to play Sniper class with one. It's just easier and makes you a bit more powerful.

The Hunter/Sniper card combo is very helpful if you have little to no gear. See if you can look for it on RMS. One of the combo's cards is a Dragon Tail card, so use that as a search to find all the cards in the combo.
