PR-AxeGunner: This is currently very outdated, and is recommended you do NOT use this guide. The files have been removed because they are either not there or heavily outdated. Thank you. :)
IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL:
Move these files (sdata, sakray, sakexe, and spatch), and your BGM folder (if you have one) to a new folder, and install my MiniSetup (found [Here] (http://) or [Here] (http://) or [Here] (http://)) to that new folder.
After you've installed it, Sakray will autopatch, then you start dyefire. This should patch Anthem, then you can play the game.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ANTHEMRO:
Note: USE A NEW, SEPERATE, CLEAN FOLDER! DO NOT INSTALL THIS TO AN OLD ANIMARO FOLDER! Note 2: It's reccommended that you DO NOT install using just the Mini Installer into another server's folder. It may cause errors. Note 3: Do NOT use a download manager! Note 4: Do NOT use iRO files, they will do nothing.
1. Install Sakray to a blank folder: [Here] (http://) or Google it. (The button order is: Left, Left, Middle, then choose the blank folder, then Middle button. At the end, uncheck the checked checkbox.)
2. Download and install the AnthemRO Mini Setup to your RO directory: [Here] (http://) or [Here] (http://) or [Here] (http://) (Includes Dyefire and Alternative Sakray/deXter's SakPak)
3. Patch Sakray. Refer to Sakray patching section, lower in this guide.
4. (Optional, but reccommended for the full experience) Download the Background Music: [Here] (http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,63.0.html)
5. Have fun and play!
HOW TO PATCH SAKRAY:
Sakray is the Korean client that AnthemRO uses game data from. In order to play error-free, you need to patch Sakray.
Run "sakray" or "sakray.exe" but NOT "Sakexe" or "Sakexe.exe" The one with the RO icon is what you want, not the one with the gears icon.
When you are patching it will look like this, though the image may be different:

During the time it patches, you should leave your computer alone and try not to run other programs.
When it is done patching, you'll see it looks like this:

Notice how the left button now tells you to Exit, as opposed to the "Please Wait" displayed during patching.
When it's done, just click the rightmost button to exit.
IF YOU CAN'T PATCH THIS WAY:
Simply run "Alternative Sakray" in the same folder. When it's done, Exit, don't hit start.
SPRITE/SHADOW ERRORS:
If you are having trouble playing, or get sprite/shadow errors, you should run Sakray.exe in your RO folder and wait for it to finish patching. Essentially, wait for the leftmost button to become clickable. When it is, and no patches are being downloaded, you should click the rightmost button.
CANNOT INIT D3D OR GRF HAS A PROBLEM ERRORS:
This essentially means you need to update your Video card drivers or download/update your DirectX. Check here for more in-depth info: [Here] (http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/support/questioncontent.asp?noticeSeqNo=38&Page=1&Condition=all&mNum=0)
CANNOT INIT AUDIO/SOUND:
Try opening the Setup icon in your RO folder, and changing the sound settings. If it still fails, try reinstalling my MiniSetup.
CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVER ERRORS:
If you cannot connect to the server, first check the server status here:

If it's up, try redownloading the AnthemRO Mini Setup and reinstalling directly over your current files.

i finished installing and updating and patches and what not but i cant even get the initial screen to come up all i got was an error message it said to report to gravity or a Game Master what do i have t odo to get the program to work? ???

Ok so I installed AnthemRO into the AnimaRO folder, but when I start up AnthemRO (I tried AnthemEXE and AnthemPatch) , I see AnimaRO servers in the server list. I try to connect and it says failed to connect to server. What's going on?

Erm...i have question ><...why my comp got 2 sakray.exe.....n they didnt looks like same things...
The first 1 pacth complete while i can c the left most button can be click, but its useless coz i still have the spirit error problem. The second 1 it looks patching but dun hav any process the are running
What shud i do now...i got the failed to connect server problem too

This worked for me when nothing else did so. If his doesn't work try using this. This is mostly for the Sakray Crashing problem
If you need to re-download the game here use this. Get sakray (use the link provided by AceJay ;o)
and get these
Sakray Patch Fixer- http://savefile.com/files/397205 OR http://www.zshare.net/download/83171178b113/
Voila. It fixes the problem sakray has with not being able to process more than some certain amount of patches at a time. I'm not quite precise with the specifics. The sakray patch fixers does just what it says. The sakray up makes the downloading process faster, and the sakray optimizer de-fragments sdata.grf for less loading time

Theres something wrong =/. After I clicked on the "sakray", its patching, but during the patch, it says theres an error while patching, and then it stops patching, so I can never get past a certain point during the patch. Can you help me with this?

Ok,so I read everything here. I've started a new folder. I downloaded the sakray thing ,then I downloaded and installed the mini thing. I ran the sakray.exe it didnt work. So I ran the alternative and that failed to connect it said. so I got the sakup the optimizer and the sakray patch fixer. I ran the patch fixer. Then I ran the original sakray.exe and it went through. So I tried to go on and now im getting sprite/shadow era.Then I tried the alternative again but its still not getting connected. This is like the 500th million attempt to play Rag again. Im upset that I spent 100$ on this game and now I cant play it because they switched severs and the downloading thing is crappy. So what do I do now to fix this sprite/shadow era thing. acejay says to update your sakray..um how? Did I do anyting wrong in my steps?

OK I just did something stupid XD when AnthemRO came out I just downloaded Sakray installed it in the AnimaRO folder as well as patch the AnthemRO mini-patcher. This turned out well and let me play. But then I thought of uninstalling everything and then just installing sakray and AnthemRO. So I did, and what happened was that at a certain point wherein Sakray was patching, I think it was looking for sakexe???? or something like that and it just stopped there. So I'm so pissed XD please help. ^_^ THANK YOU

My problem is that my Sakray has been updated to the most recent patch. I can play other Private servers but for Anthem, it's not working so hot. The patcher doesn't work as it should and it keeps screaming the Gravity Error Handler problem.

Yo, this is what I did to get my crap going. I didnt have anything at first. I uninstalled AnimaRO thinking I would beable to get a new full install with the new server people. They dont have it yet so blah. I went to (edited) and Downloaded their Full Version & Sakray. Installed the full version & Sakray. Patched the sakray. Went back to anthemro.com and got their mini installer and installed that. Then BOOM im back. No problems. Peace

I downloaded it, but none of the Sakray seem to be working when I go to upload, so I assumed that it was already up-to-date seeings as I play on other RO servers. But when I went to click on Anthem, I got the Shadow sprite error...
When I was exploring more into the download, I noticed the Sakray ReadMe packet, and as I was following the steps, nothing wanted to work... So that was also out of the question...

Edit: Missing/broken DLL problem fixed... Just use the AnthemRO install in the sticky, not the one on AnthemRO's download page. (Unless they've changed it since I posted this)
I'm having some trouble with a missing DLL file... I'm not really sure, but I guess it has to do with my Sakray download? That seems to be the theory I keep bumping into, anyways. I've downloaded several different copies of the DLL from sites, but I'm still getting some errors. I figure that maybe getting a working copy of it from another computer might solve my problem?
The file's called mss32.dll, and I'm pretty sure it's located in the windows\system folder. I'm not too worried about breaking anything, since the file didn't even exist before I put it there...
It might be hidden; and if it is, don't bother fussing with it. I'd hate to be responsible if anything goes wrong... In that case, I'll just wait until the full version is available. :)

Hmm, I think this guide may be able to help me out, as of today I officially have no files of RO whatsoever because of a mouse-pinter mistake ...
I will follow all the steps and hopefully I will be able to get back on AnthemRO server.

After using his mini installer, try downloading the one from AnthemRO's front page (mini installer) and installing over his. They had updated palettes after he had made his 2.0 install, which has the old palettes. So after you install the new mini installer, that might help ;3

You talking about the Dyefire thing? I included the new version in the current 2.0...

Then you didn't download Sakray, lol.
i did, but when i try to run it, i get a error:
Sak_Setup1017.exe isn't a valid win 32 aplication.
sorry, if i worte something wrong, but i get the error in spanish x-
EDIT: im trying from a different computer now, and i still get the same error with sakray

um somethings wrong i tried to run ROSakFix but it keeps saying "cannot find sdata.grf. please make sure you have copied ROSakFix to the folder where you installed Ragnarok."

Did you recently install? USB mouse? Did you use Praeline's regedit fix?
If you have other servers in the folder, make sure you reinstall into a new folder.
Also, maybe you have a really new (or old) and unsupported mouse. Make sure you get the most updated drivers in that case.

I cannot so much as open sakray. I downloaded the files you specified, and went to open SAK_SETUP1017.
Windows explorer promtly crashed. I've tried it many times with the same result. I'm running Vista on a laptop that I've had to hard reset because of this a number of times approaching 2 digits.
How do I make this work? Everyone else's problems come up a good deal father than I can get, it seems.

Hmm, since it's Vista, maybe try running as Admin or disabling User Account Control.
If those do nothing, maybe you've gotten a corrupt file. If you downloaded through a Wireless connection, this is pretty likely. Try redownloading on wired, with no download Manager support, using IE7.

After opening my sakray patch, i let the patch update itself. After approximately 4 hours when the patch got to 2007/10/?? which i believe to be the 2007, October patch, sakray exited by itself. It has happened twice now, and the button that should light up "http://i10.[ I don't think so buddy! ]PatchedSakray.png" does not. Even after this i tried opening up AnthemRO from Anthem Patch; as i clicked start game, the patch immediately disappeared and AnthemRO did not start.
I am using Windows Vista with 2GB memory and 320 GB and 2.60 GHz graphics; thus i do not believe the problem to be the graphic card, or lack of memory, or space. However, i have suspicions of whether the cause may be Windows Vista. I used an administrator account to update the patch btw
Sakray : Date Modified-04/08/2005 I also suspect that the version may be too old...
When AnthemExE.exe is executed, the computer registers and feeds: "This application has failed to start because binkw32.dll was not found." The name Alternative Sakray is not found to be in the folder AND i did not hit start

It's fine, but what you should do is:
-Download the Sakray I put in the first post and install but do not patch it. -Download the MiniSetup in my post and install it. -Patch Sakray. Refer to first post, also just exit it out if it takes too long on a certain update, and reload it. -Patch Anthem using dyefire then run Anthem(.exe if you have your file extensions shown).

It depends on what you see as fun. Though a meelee char would probably be your best choice so Thief or Swordsman maybe?

is the anthemRO team working on a cleaner download? because honestly this can be a bit unattractive no offense, but i still gonna play lolz. =3, I am just saying it would be a good idea to set up a good clean dl of this thats like just a 5step install err smm.
PS:
Just a suggestion, because some people may be driven away due to frustration lolz.
NOTE: one wierd thing w/ my sakray updating: When i go to the alternate it says its done, but when i go to the normal one it starts dl'ing, very weird.
That no longer matters, but one question, i noticed that all my old existing accounts still exist... wow i didnt think this would happen lolz, so i still have my ol team xD and they ol in more ways than 1 lolz xD.
But one finall thing: why doesnt the patcher load the game, it just closes, but i can open the game from the anthem.exe, but isnt the patcher supposed to do that too? how can i fix this? (its not really a big deal tho... i can still load it through the anthem.exe, but not through the patcher =\)

Install Sakray into the folder, but don't patch. Uncheck the box at the end of Setup.

You'll have to download Sakray another way, either by torrenting on the main site or trying a link here:
I downloaded the mini setup and sakray. Then when I tried patching sakray it failed so I used alternative. Alternative said attempting to connect to file server please wait. Then it says failed to get and then these weird symbols
I ran into the same problem. My mini installer is installed. I have all the files in a seperate folder though, is this my problem?

To start the game without patching click the file called "Anthem". To start the game using the anthemro patcher click the file called "AnthemPatch". You should create a shortcut on your desktop or where ever of the "AnthemPatch".

Well, clicking "Anthem" launches the game, launching the game via the patcher installs any updates anthemro may have put out, besides it only takes maybe 10 seconds extra to enter the game via the patcher.

Clicking anthem.exe is fine. Myself i use the AnthemRO patcher to go in-game each and every time.

You've got a corrupt download. That can occur from using a Download Manager.

I restarted, closed all my primary programs running and installed again, then this happened again.
Did it install correctly?
Oh man, major boo boo. Was it supposed to be installed in Program Files/Gravity/RO ???
Another edit: Okay, i possibly did something wrong, because I cant even start AnthemRO...I get to the patching screen, press start and nothing happens after that. Initally there was nothing wrong with my game, it worked perfectly.
Next Move: Uninstall everything then start from scratch. I will install everything according to this tutorial, hopefully it will fix my problem...

Hello guys.
I dont think my problem is posted here.
What happens is that when im installing AnthemRO the installer freezes at 97% and then goes to "no response" mode.
The only way to close it is to hit Ctrl+Alt+Del.
BTW: Some files are installed in the RO folder, and after I patch them and try to play, I get the sprite error.

I've just finished version 2.2. Updates include:
-Contest winner's banner included. -New Icon, a more cool-blue themed one; appropriate for Anthem. -Edited all screens: License screen is clearer and reworded, as is the Main screen. -Removed Valk Helm sprite as requested by GMs. -Removed GameGuard, which is recognized as a Trojan by non-Korean Scanners. (No one is at risk, don't worry, lol.) -Included ScreenShot folder as well as BGM folder in case the client doesn't make either. -Removed sakray.exe, sakexe, and spatch.inf, so Sakray won't think it's being made to re-update. -Runs Sakray Patcher when installation is complete. -Edited PatchClient images: (Now with English buttons, with always grayed out Start button that displays "Please Wait" when patching, and "Please Close ->" When finished. Easier Patching for new players. The "Please Close ->" button has all frames grayed out so people are less inclined to click it. so far i have been having problems getting anthemro to work
after i downloaded god of ragnarok then uninstalled it anthemro suddenly stopped working X3
i tried downloading the same way i did the first time, but this error came up:
Cannot init d3d OR grf file has problem
i wonder if i am only to download the unmetered download, since i first installed the SAK from the forums and the mini setup with dyefire then downloading the mini setup from the anthemro website... i don't think the download links need to be checked or fixed though /hmm
so far i'll try the unmetered download and hope it works /sob
so far i don't need a graphic driver update since it worked fine
edit: when i saw the top space in the setup, it had the same letter and number in it /hmm but it was empty... so was the size for full screen
i'll post back if the problem continues /ok (im sticking with anthemro from now on /desp)

If there's still nothing there, update your video card driver.
so far my hunch was right, i need to put on from the arrow drop down list that d3d option
plus playing anthemRO at 800x600 i think it was... is ODD @_@
not sure how nothing was in the space in the first place but thx lord i noticed it /sigh

Ok, I have a weird problem now. I used the full installer and everything looked like it installed correctly so I tried to just run Anthem without Dyefire and I would reach all the way up to connecting to the server and trying to login, but it keeps saying Failed to connect to server. I updated Sakray with the v2.2 mini-installer and still to no avail. Is there something else I am missing or do I just need to start from square one all over again and maybe just try it your way (downloading sakray first, using your mini-installer.. etc).

Unfortunately, Dyefire had the same symptom of 'Failed to connect to server'. BTW, before this I had previous had the old animaRO installed with all the updated patches and downloaded patches installed and everything was working fine. I wanted to remove the xmas patches and I read from the other thread that deleting the data folder would get rid of them. When I deleted the data folder is when I started having this problem (even after uninstalling RO and reinstalling).

Sigh, it still didn't work. I moved those files to some trivial directory like \Gravity\test and it still has the connection error. I then proceeded to again remove/delete everything and start all over. Sorry, when I refer to the minisetup, it is your minisetup that I have been using. I did move the files and use your minisetup and it didn't work. I'm pretty sure everything you're telling would work, but I seem to have a different problem. I've sent a support ticket to the GMs to see if they can help me work it out also.

Does it instantly give you the "Failed to connect to server" message or does is take a while to display it?
If it takes a while it's just normal lag that shoudl be fixed by restarting your computer =/ If it's instant it's an installation/directory problem.
Take a screenshot of the RO folder you're using, in List View please.

Weird.
Okay, there's one other thing that it might be.
If you install to a folder then later move or change the folder's name, there's a chance it won't connect.
So I would definately reinstall, and try putting it in a folder on your Desktop.

Okay, shoot me now. I figured out what was wrong. My IP address changed since sometime last and it was one of the IP addresses that had some ports blocked. After altering the IP addresses to block the correct computer, I am able to connect again (after I had already formated my computer T_T). Thanks for all your help though AceJay. /no1

2007-12-05sdata_k2.gpf isnt finishing the dl... no error popups... it just isnt finishing lolz its like it wont finish xD like just really close but just far away.
EDIT: I dont know if this is wierd to you all, but to me it is... I dl'ed the anthem setup from offa the site... ran the game... works fine... but then i install MIR, no workey correct... SOOOO.... now i'm running sakray... I wonder... is the fact that the ai isnt working due to the sakray? or smm else?

Downlod the first two things and place them in your AI folder.
Then take everything that's inside the USER_AI folder and move it to the AI folder, then delete the USER_AI folder.

I dont think it worked... The odd thing is... If I move my folder ANYWHERE but in the RO folder the configure application will work... if i take it and put it back in, this is what happens:
1) When i installed the game it workz FINE! 2) I run the game its all good. 3) The patcher finished also... 4) I install MIR in my RO folder AI/USER_AI and I always get a popup of this when I try to configure it: (http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b106/OmegaGrafix/ConstLua.jpg) 5) When I copy my ai folder... but put it in another folder other than the RO folder... the customizer works fine... thats really stupid... why is this happening?

You have to install Sakray, not just download the file.
And install the Minisetup to the folder you installed Sakray to.

Install mini anthemRO setup in your RO folder and use atlernative sakray to update your sakray and then just run anthemRO patch.

yes, i wondering you installed both in deferent folders, so you need to reinstall and make sure both in same folder, first install sakray and then mini setup to same folder.

you can download anywhere you want and you can install anywhere you want to in your Pc, just you need to install both setups in same folder.

You need to activate your account from your email( check in inbox or junk).

Try to configure your screen setting from RO folder, run setup file to set screen setting. Check weather your graphic card name shows in list, if not go for direct3d with 800x600.

Turn off AVG before you play RO.
Also ignore that whenevr it pops up.
Reinstall my Minisetup if you need to.

So I down loaded the Full AnthemRO starter thing took 4 hours nothing went wrong with the download I hope but when it is installing the files it stops at 97% and says not responding I tried over and over and the same effect so I cancel it go to the newly made RO folder and there are the RO files there so I try to use AnthemRO and all the reg problems pop up so I go to SAKRAY and I wait and wait and says something like failed to get file something it said the same with Alternative SAKRAY
So now I am trying something out by downloading SAK_SETUP1213.part1 of/and 2 RAR and gonna check if this works out then get the mini setup and should be ok for playing the game again? after I/if SAKRAY gets going and nothing goes wrong. :<

Delete EVERYTHING except these files:
sdata sakray sakexe spatch BGM folder
And then install my MiniSetup (found [Here] (http://files.filefront.com/AnthemROMiniSetup22/;9577514;/fileinfo.html) or [Here] (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XBXWE9PV) or [Here] (http://rapidshare.com/files/89450226/AnthemRO_MiniSetup_2.2.exe)) to where those files are left.
After you've installed it, Sakray will autopatch, then you start dyefire. This should patch Anthem, then you can play the game.

Odd, it looks normal.
Try deleting the GameGuard folder, then running ROSakFix, then dyefire.

Oh, this is probably the problem then. If you're using dialup, you have to be 100% connected before you use RO apps. However all computers and ISPs work differently, so I don't know if I;d be able to help you there =/
Take a screen of that icon and the options you get when you click on it?

Oh, you're on Wireless.
Try not using that, use wired instead.
If not ask the person in charge of the Wireless router to change the WEP key (password) since that may be an issue.

If you downloaded my Sakray it should take no longer than 30 minutes on a Cable modem.
You should probably download mine if You haven't already.

hi guys out there yesteday a dicided to unistall ro and istallet again then i did it but now i cant play the f.... sprite/shadown.act erros pops up i already did what acejay said but it doesnt work so pls guy help me now and i already tried to download the intaller again and when i istalling it the istallation stop at 97% nd the program doesnt work what can i do pls and if i have to download soemhtign can yuo send me the link pls

AceJay, I need some help. I patched my sakray until it was finished with the normal sakray, the alternative sakray and the valhalla client patcher.

Well, I thought it would be a freakin great idea to completely clear out all RO files and redownload the game to clean up some space on my compy. 8 hours later and i still can't get the friggin thing running. Sakray wont patch. I keep getting Sprite/shadow errors. The sites downloading files filed. I used everything from AceJay's guide and followed it word for word. I even downloaded those Sakray fixer things that were posted on the second page. This is my fourth time trying to Update my sakray. The lastest attempt got me to january of 08.. Any kind of advice would be appreciated.. Am I missing something here or what? ______________________________________________
I got it running somehow, really no idea how it happened. Though Sakray STILL wont update. Also, Im missing AI files for humonc? Anyone know where I can get these :< I got a crap load of errors when I went on my Alch, and took a while to finally activate Rest and get it to normal. A little help please .-.

i cant play the game when i try to enter the server it always says disconnected to server what seems to be my problem? im using windows vista of a different language of the pc that i cant understand... :-[

Do you use your administrator account? Run it as admin? Or let the program run through firewalls...

I have an issue with patching..
Whenever the patching gets to the file 2007 - 11- 21 it will finish that file and stop completely. The please wait button doesn't change to please exit.
Anyone know what the problem is?

Maybe someone can help me here. I can't get into the server, I get the "Failed to connect to server" message every time I try. I did what the post said, reinstall the mini-setup over the files (twice, getting it from different sources) and it's still not working. The normal Sakray won't work for me, but the alternative is working just fine and I get all the patches.
Nevermind, I downloaded the RO zip and now I got it to work (only had to change my password cause I got an incorrect password message)

Okay dokay, I'm trying to patch the game, but I have a question on what I have to patch: right now I'm patching the original korean sakray, but do I also have to patch the alternative sakray, anthem and anthem patch? I just want to do things right so I don't have any errors.

You only need to patch the korean sakray and the normal anthemRO patch. The alternative sakray patch is only for when your current sakray patch is acting faulty and you can use the alternative one to patch instead.

I got a similar problem... but its not the xmaspatch thingy. Its related to kahos:
20080215kahos.gpf is not a GPF or RGZ file, try later.... what I find strange is that the file has the .gpf thingy and the window says it is not a gpf file. What should I do?
another thing, sometimes I get the same error but with a different file: 20080215blankpcb.gpf
either way, it doesnt let me play the game through the anthempatch/dyefire...
I expect there is something I can do to solve the problem, if there is a way please post it. Thanks for your time

Well yeah, I have a problem downloading the game. :(
Well.. The problem is I can't patch Sakray. When I click Sakray, an error comes up saying "???? ??? ?? ?????" So I tried to patch the Alternative Sakray way, but that way an error pops up saying "Failed to connect to file server."
Can anyone help me? :(

Download all the files from the list somewhere (NOT your RO folder), starting with the first file you located, and then copy them into your RO folder (i.e. C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO), so that you have a backup of the files in case something doesn't work. You don't need to download the following files:

After I downloaded the Torrent file I tried to open up a program and it said theat the file was not supported by Torrent. I tried to delete it but that did not work. So no I am stuck and cant open up half of my programs. How so I get rid of Torrent!!!???

The operating system is Vista, the torrent program is utorrent and my firewall and virus are what comes with Vista. We dont have Norton Anit-Virus or any program like that.
Im really not to sure because im not the best with computers, we have a Vista computer and I downloaded the Torrent that you need to download the full download for AnthemRO, which I believe is uTorrent, and are only virus protection/firewall would be what came packaged with our Vista, which is the Home Premium.

The uTorrent program would not let my open up paint. But the message it said was, quote, Unable to load "mspaint.exe": Invalid torrent file!, unquote. It says the same thing for every file I try to open, but with the exception of the name of the file, like for Solitaire, its "Solitaire.exe"
Also, I cant even download the AnthemRo Full Setup file. When I am done downloading adn try to open it, a message says "Not enough storage to process this command.!"

Old - yes, but for others having this problem, and you if you still do, just try again in about 5-10 minutes.

Make sure that if she's on Vista that UAC is off and the installer is being run on Administrative Controls (right click -> Run as admin)

Hello, I've downloaded everything that is needed at least what i know of but i still can't get it to work ??? i don't get it maybe I'm a retard or something but can someone maybe explain step by step. Ex. Install this first (Link to download) then patch it then download (Link to download) etc etc... Or if someone could make a movie on how to do this it would be even better :P
I would be very happy if someone could help me fix this.

heys, may i know...this month which is january...how many people have actually succeed in downloading the anthemro??can sumone who manage all this thing reply here to give me sum confidence??i don't wana give myself so much hope and failed in the end when downloading the game

ok i have the same problem i go to ratemyserver.com download the latest one i wait 4 boring hours once its done i install and i try to patch and nothing! i tried like 4 methods to get AnthemRO something is wrong anyone know?
Edit: i tried this method yesterday and i dont see the three buttons on the patch and sakray doesnt work when its in the RO folder but it works outside like on the desktop please help

You must validate or activate your account. Go to your email and sent/click the activation code in the bottom of your mail from anthemro. Enjoy and welcome to AnthemRO.

Well if you not receiving the mail from anthem when you registering, I suggest you make a new account and wait for the email from anthemro. The validation url will be on your email you receive from anthemro, after you make a new account in anthemro website.

Note the url link that you have to click in the bottom of the mail.

Ok, so I dowloaded good old Anthem again, after deciding I would take a break for a few months. Lo and behold, I download it off the website, and I, having done this many times, installs it, goes into the RO folder, clicks for sakray to patch, it begins patching... and it looks like it's doing alright:
or I get a This Program has Stopped Working (depending on which sakray I initially click on). I'm confused because I've never had any difficulty patching Anthem before--why now?

I did the scan to see what was wrong, my data file was corrupt, so I deleted/reinstalled and it worked. Evidently sometimes in the installation process it claims it is successful even if it fails ???
Either way, it's working now!

OK here is my problem.
The game plays but I keep getting this can not find sprite error that minus the page over and over again even after I click on on the little pop up box (the box jut keeps popping up)
I try to patch Sakray and it shows the ??? ??? ??? but it still says please wait. I try the alternative and it stops at one of the items and says either cancel or exit. (I waited for 1 h then decided to final hit exit)
the game works OK but when certain skills or certain character sprites (most likely bard) come on the screen it dose that. it gets very annoying and I had to shut my comp off twice because of it.
Can you please help me fix this problem?

if u havent tried downloading from anthemro.com then you should try it if not maybe a gm can help u

For everyone having problems with your client, post in bug reports exactly what's wrong and/or what's happening.
Otherwise, make a new thread.

There's a fix in the works for this. Simply redownloading aRO.dll wont work. Sorry.
