Would sages/scholars benefit from FirePillar, if it was ever added on the SQI?

Not really, it'd be nifty but I'd probably never bother using it, especially since it'd just be another crap thing that breaks web. Why are you asking about it though, Tome is pretty good as it is.

I was looking up a Sage's fire skills at RMS. Volcano in particular. I figure a sage class (maybe not so much for the scholar class) would benefit from FP :D

but can they ask more when they already have enough?

No thanks, with Web and Double fire bolt - you already have awesome fire damage(even more inside a Volcano). Asking for more fire based skills is plain greedy.

well we can already use firewall. vertical firewalls do the job well so fire pillar is not needed

Why do you always make useless posts like these with ">_>" in them every single fucking time?

Fire Pillar wouldn't be good for Professors unless you gave them Sight Blaster to go with it for pillar pushing fun. The pillars are stackable, so yeah...
