I think u may have made a mistake here...In order of most useful It'd be:

Tirfing > Teddy Bear > Khalitz

Clearly tirfing is going to be the most useful shield do to a large amount of medium size enemies in this game and the fact that players are medium. Now narrowed down just to include niff, I believe tirfing to be the best as it reduces dullahans and disguises. While teddy bear reduces more from dullahans and khalitz more from disguises, tirfing gives 25% over both of the two most damaging monsters in niff.

And I'm not biased towards tirfing for ne particular reason. I used khalitz for over a year be4 I finally gave in and switched to tirfiing after noticing a drastic improvement in dmg received and overall survival.

Tirfing is more versatile than Teddy or Khalitz, since you can use for other stuff.

pretty much, don't get me wrong it's not a bad idea to have race and size redux shields cause there is always a map where one will be better than the other. But for niff you face a couple different races, the 2 biggest pains being dullahans and disguises both of which get a nice redux from tirfing.

i can see the logic in ur last statement but because I don't have ne solid experience with a teddy bear card i couldnt say that teddy bear was ne better or worse than khalitz

well, honestly cant say i have. however if you look at the size chart of the undead mobs, most are medium so tirf covers teddy bear work (undead-large arent your everyday kill and undead-small are sort of weak).
Plus i put teddy bear on last because its versability and long term usefullness, on other words, wich is going to be more usefull on all places i might go and not only nif. Tirf does a decent job on nif, khalitz does a great job on geffenia while teddy bear does its best on places like churchyard, thanatos (against your not everyday kills), prison and nameless

consider the places and their profits and then take your conclusions

Platinum Shield is crap and it's only if your in a budget but either way people over-price it so you better off with a TB or Tirfing.

Platinum Shield is a shield dropped from Guardians in Thor Dungeon.

A friend got one once. I think it reduces damage from large and medium enemies. I may be wrong. I don't remember.


@OT - I will just get Tirfing then. LOL

yeh 15% reduced, and stacks with: reduce 10% from undead
so it would be good if it wasn't for the trans/lvl/cost requirement :D
