are card drops like pretty rare or something, im kinda new but i've killed a ton (like zombies and skeletons and orc zombies) and one has never popped up

Drops at 0.03% so you have a 1 in 3000(right? x_x) chance of one dropping. But that doesn't mean if you kill 3k monsters you'll get one. Each monster is rather like a slot machine...or a box of chocolates... Never really know what you're gonna get.

But yeah, Psyche is correct, appart from the few cards that (I've heard) have been buffed on thier drop rate, such as Poring cards. Nothing rare/expensive though.
7,400 Stem Worms and counting without a card. >.>

i quitted after killing 6000 smokies to get either the headband and the card (neither dropped ._.)

I got job lvls for my sniper down there in about 4 days I had 6 cards and 4 gloves. :laugh:

Yesh i have killed 4k+ ED's and gotten at least 3 of every rare item drop they have (Some of them as low as a card) But neveer once seen their card. Although~ My bf has killed about 6K+ Butterflys for the Waghnak[4] But ended up only ever getting 2 of their cards XD If you want one it wont drop so just pretend your lookin for something else XDDDD

Gah! I dont like you :< Thats sooooo not fair xD Cause i hunted a good 1k myself >__> And Lol i got that gay whip on like my first kill. Same chance as card XD And when you find somethings card and its not what your looking for its kinda like "Well there goes the card i wanted"

Yeah I killed over 9k Stems, no card. Killed one Garg by accident, got a card. It's just mere luck.

and u guys actually count ur kills? O_o the only time i did was when i got the card i wanted in 6 kills xD
I just keep their highest dropped item in storage to keep track of how many I've killed. And yeah, there's a thread with a screenie of the card in some thread..somewhere. /heh

got a SR card and a permeter card within a few seconds of each other like months ago; that wasn't really a big accomplishment but meh, still pretty good.

iget niff cards everytime i niff but thats not a huge accomplishment, getting a poring card is a bigger accomplishment than that :laugh:

Well For the Bloody Butterflys we decided to try save its 100% drop chance loots to see about how many we've killed. And for the ED i was hunting on a 98 priestie who gained about 0.03% exp for each kill. Same as the drop rate. I made it to 99 without any card grinding ED's XD

acctually .03% chance is a 3 in 10,000 chance = 1 in 3,333.33. i guess maybe you were just rounding off?

ive only seen a sk card being dropped...and that wasn mine :S otherwise no mvp cards tho i really shuda gotten an amon ra by now ~_~....then again its only been like..couple hundred times

the drop rate has to be MUCH higher than what it is now to lower the cost at all xP
