i was deciding wat class to trans my character into. I concluded between a lk or a pally. I want to know wich class is more prefered or stronger. I would like to know the gears of both classes too. Non sqi

Each job has its own strengths and weaknesses although iirc most people would agree paladins are slighty better then lord knights. The gears would depend on how much money you have and what build you would use. The Paladin one i can help you with but i really have no idea about LK's (ill find a link)

Everyone does something a little different but most paladins for PvM would use a GC build or some kind.

if you're going to be a LK, just don't be a failure like many people

i should mention my budget. i have kaho to sell and only 14m   :'( wat are the main gears that i should get

pally's can get pretty expensive if you want to be top tier
lk's....errr, don't know much because most just do spiral pierce which ken counters with defender

so since you have kahos already, for pally, you should aim to get a DI+DL combo and angeling
Lk, you should get like a DDTP spear, GTB shield, and garm full plate or something

im planning to sell my kahos for like 69.5m so in total ill have around 84m

kahos would actually be a good thing to hang on too, then you can use the 14-15m or so you have to buy really good gears for whatever job you choose (its more then enough to be decent)

You might wanna sell the kahos and get a weapon first. They may prove easier to level with.

Then slowly earn to get your kahos back.

if you're paladin, for sure, you can use npc gears for a while
