Post by: DreamerP on July 05, 2009, 08:25:36 am
I keep trying to download the files for the timer but when I click on setup it always tells me that I'm in the middle of something but I have notthing open ._.
Has anyone tried this and/or had this problem and is there a solution for it :-\
Maybe a different link to download from ???

I'm pretty sure he's talking about a program where YOU type in what time the monster is dead, and what time it'll spawn again, and it'll just alert you when that monster spawns again. Kinda like any timer.
Also, cant help you dreamer; I dont use the program, sorry x_x

Do you want his room to become a clock shop /omg
xD
I want a digital clock like the one in your desktop tray, so I don't have to minimize RO to check the exact time. xP

It's notthing illegal... What it does it's basically an online stop watch when the mvp dies you click it to let you know when it died so if SK died at 12:00: and 12 seconds it would record that and let you know at what time it would spawn. I usually keep track by paper and pen and looking at my clock but it won't keep track of the seconds...

You can program your computers clock to alarm you when its time, well most computers can do that.

I always remembered the times in mind - not like it was hard. A few seconds here and there dont matter.

The MVP timer can time ALL mvps simultaneously. It just makes keeping track of times a loooot easier. I remember always typing times into a notepad file. This is basically the same thing except instead of typing you just click once and boom! the timer is counting down till the next spawn.
Also, Dreamer i'm not sure why it does that. Could it be that you use Vista or something? Perhaps you have another version of promvp somewhere? Check your processes.

My solution: Get a logitech G series keyboard with an LCD display, they have countdown/stopwatch timers (with sounds ;3), clocks, media displays... gosh I love my G15 /heh

Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open up task manager. Then click on the tab that says processes. fuck, you don't know how hard it was to type that with a broken s key... I had to keep using
