Title: Is there any way to reduce dmg taken from undead ?
Post by: Raydark on July 02, 2009, 08:54:26 am
I am training my knight now since my crusader has reach lvl 99 (Yay !) but unlike my crusader. My knight doesn't have the advantage of healing and grand cross. I'm currently mobbing zombie prisoners in gh but the dmg I am taking from those monster is around 400~600..... Is there any card that is able to help me ?

tirfing shield reduce 25% from mid size monste teddy bear shield reduce 30% from undead...both 9 ads
anyway...usually knight train at High Orc which mean thara...good and cheap, 30% reduct from demihuman...however at anthem leveling at prison is fun due to a lot of people...

since their atks also count as neutral(cept the skill), devi (50%)/raydric (20)/noxious(10) works too
and pure defense...overups, garm, etc

Nope, they're medium, as are the injustices that also populate the prisons.
Deviling, and tirfing I recommend, because they both have other uses outside of just mobbing monsters. Both cards are going to be fairly expensive though.

I found levelling my Knight and my first aRO char quite easy here. High orcs is the way to go. Prison isnt really for Knights. And to top it - its crowded as well. Knights have insane mobbing abilities via bran spear or Bowling bash. I would often level at these places :
High Orcs / Pasana : VVS Ice pike Comodo beach seals : Gungir Geffenia : Brocca (after it was added) Bibilan 4: Gungir( exp was low but drops were cool)

Orc Zombie card reduces damage from undead, like...30%?
A brionac might be good for you if you fight demon, shadow, or undead monsters.

I believe that's undead property attacks. IIRC it's different.

platinum shield >_>
Quote
A magnificent platinum shield. Some say the shield reflects negative spells. Reduces damage taken from Medium / Large-sized monsters by 15%. Reduces damage taken from Undead type monsters by 10%. This effect stacks if the Undead monster also happens to be Medium or Large. Whenever you receive a Magical Damage there is small chance to reflect all offensive magic against you at 40% chance for 2 seconds. MDEF + 5

That shield isn't slotted unfortunately :) If it was - that + toad would make a good PVP reduction since all players but babies are medium sized /heh

Damn, the stuffs mentioned are all so expensive. :'( I like to level in gh prison is because it's like the best place I can get eluniums from. I have over 200 of them and it's my main source of income in Ro.
I think I got to wait for a while before getting the cards. I got to get a berz clip for my crusader first. =D

Not true my main income was earrings[1], steel , orids and hero drops in West orcs.
Have you tested this ? As much as I know turkeys dont change size modifiers. Atleast not for adults. Knights w/ or w/o turkeys take 2 hits from pierce skill. If they were large they would take 3.

It was on one of the posts err describing why one weapon is better than another vs small medium large
though it was still anima when I read it

Pierce is the only fool proof way to test :P
1 shot for small 2 shots for medium 3 shots for large.
In my experience All regular adults and peco riders are medium. I would only land 2 shots on pecoed adult knights/saders. I sadly never tested it on babies for myself lacking the drive to play knights any more and lacking baby chars myself.

Yeah baby chars riding pecos knight/saders are consider medium when I used pierce on 1 to test *2 hits =medium right*. (But this was like December of last year so who knows.
