So I just downloaded the RC version of windows 7...is that supported at all by Anthem? I looked in compatibility mode and it only had up to Vista. Granted, I realize this OS has not been officially released yet, but some programs have decided to jump ahead and work on compatibility with the new OS. 

I was able to run and patch Sakray, and even the sakexe came up. But on regular anthem, I get past the patcher, and the window flashes before disappearing again. Compatibility mode got me to the login screen, but then I just got a constant 'Disconnected from Server' or 'Failed to connect to server' message. I haven't logged in in a while and I wanted to play, figures when I want to that I can't. xD  Any thoughts?

Windows 7 doesn't work with aRO. Everyone with it who has tried has similar problems with connecting.

Well...that sucks. Are they going to do anything about that soon? I really want to play again...

I know some about all of this technical stuff and I have tried every single thing to get aRO to work. The problem isn't aRO is the Game Guard. Game Guard doesn't work with Windows 7. If any of the moderatos has an old version of the GameGuard.des, I will gladly work on the fixing of this problem.

Don't use Windows 7, Windows XP or Vista 64 bit are much better .__.

Windows XP is good but old, and Vista is a slow turtle machine. Besides people that use Windows 7 knows that its still in RC which is not the the exact product they will launch, and so far is very good.

I have a few friends who all have tested Windows XP, Vista and 7 on their betas. And they all agree that 7 is the best they've tested.

Well huzzah, it works! =D  Too bad there's no dyes yet...I don't like the HP pink dress >.> 
Oh well xD  I'm just happy I can log in again whenever I get the random urge to do so again. And lol Drake...you are one of very very few people I've heard recommend Vista. Never used it myself...and I've been mostly happy with 7 so far. Mostly just a few compatibility issues since it's so new. *shrug*
