Title: how did u guys get 100m?

do u guys save ur money since novice n never spend it until u trans or do u bought an item, then sell it for higher price, then bought another item?

i just wanna know if my method of spending money is right..

I'm not sure if I understand the question, but:

Buying low, selling high. I know a few people who just watch the market the whole time they're on.
When they see someone desperate to sell something pricing it low; they buy it, and either resell, or
unslot and resell. It takes a lot of patience, but they make quite a bit of money off it.

If it's a question on how to make money, Niff'ing usually isn't the first thing you'll do; as it requires an investment.
Farming Blue herbs in the YGG tree, or Ganking' cake from Toyfactory 2 on a rogue are two good ways of starting out.

oh.. ok.. but wut i really wanna know is when u get for example 10m, do u spend it on an item u like n then resell it after ur done with it or do u save the 10m until u get 100m? bcoz i gotta say, for me 100m is ridiculously high..

for me i set one aim, for example, "I WANT TO GET THAT" and then its farm away saving the money till i have what is needed
(and thats why too besides having equips, i barely have any money, lol)

but yea, spend 100mil can be pretty sudden. from rich to poor in seconds. at least hope what is worth 100mil worths the time spent on farming

edit: honestly i dont like the buy low, sell high
people are getting too greedy these days. they just sell everything too high. to sell higher is hard

You see what item is in demand and farm it or try/Collect Items from monsters and then sell to the npc and see if its worth Gathering more of that item and how big is the spawn rate and amount of spawns on that map whats the best map of it etc.

People make money buy Gearing up 1 character then Gain items to npc and do it over and over till they can buy something from vending players or if they can farm the card/weap they want etc.everyone has there own methods to make the money  ;D

I never saved when i was a novice the time i started making money is when i could handle money making type areas then i start to save for some decent equips. Then I start to ave big and go for high end gears in the end 1 by 1.

it good if you have smart planning..i always farm my z but at the same time ,i play market too when i can..
some item that i aim for a week ,i might able to get that in just few days..if you got niff gear ,it really help in boost up your z..just don't lazy lol..
don't push yourself too hard and enjoy your play..you will satisfy with your hard word when you able to achieve your target

I think maybe most save up till they have what they need to go at the game properly... Like IC gear or a DD weapon and a few cheaper end reduction gears to make the farming go a lot faster.

i nvr niff and reached about 300m just buying low selling high. Like gather all the things u bought low and vend them all. Play on another account and while passing Pront and seeing something cheap, buy it and add it to the store later. Well, thats what I did. Niffing gets me bored and hurts my eyes

Exploring.

Found out the Great Nature was stealable from Sleeper so farmed it. ( It was still vendable for 20k+ each back then)
Farmed oridecons and clips (when both still are priced high) in clocktower. (Observed that No one was going in clocktower)
Made Blushes, no one was making them. Easily sold for 5m a piece.
And I voted everyday.

I did these back then when I started.

You must be doing it wrong. 3 Years? Even if you don't have good gears, it shouldn't take that long.

Party up with people. Research the information. Do business, make a merch and buy and sell stuff like making GJ and selling it for profit.

There are a unlimited amount of things to do in RO to get wealthy. I made 300m in the last month, it shouldn't be that hard for you either.

hehe... yea... i hate grinding so much that when i got bored with my hunter i made an alchemist... then a blacksmith... then a thief (still lvl 40+)... then sg.. then ninja... then i get back on my hunter... /heh

.... o.0 so thats where my money went...

100m isnt really high. i saw someone post a picture of their zeny it was like in billions. I think it was axle,i forgot i made a topic about it "Max Zeny" something like that. It was a year ago. somone find it for me lol. But the pic was in pront near the doc the character used was a stalker.

I kept switching characters, too, for a long time before I had any money. Last summer I decided that I was going to get my BS to niff, so I spent a month or two saving up 60 something million for a DBSS mace. I farmed blue herbs and cakes for a lot of it (blue herbs aren't as bad because you run through two screens, do something else for half an hour, and repeat). I had a second client open at all times vending grape juice. I probably sold 3 or 400k grape juice every day. When I wasn't playing, I was also vending on my main client. When I finally got the mace, I could at least start niff, though I died a lot.

Looking back on it, I realize I did it wrong. The way to do it is to save up enough money for eddga boots/shoes (14-18 mil). Once you have them, you can greed for a priest and start getting the other niff gear a lot quicker. Once you have enough of the other gear, you can solo.

I did was way back when it was still Anima.  It was an event that introduced UNSLOTTER.  so when the unslotting page was new.  no people knew about the unslotter so.  i bought 20m DDgakkungs unslot it break the gakkung and get the cards.  i probably bought 5 DD gakkungs/DD garrison.  and probably 3 DDPT blad/pike. and i bought and unslot DDT tf/  TTH EG.  and i think i made 700-900m that month.

yeps..so,niffing while niff is not crowded..i usually wake up at 4 a.m at my time for niffing..coz that time..niff not crowded..not only niff u can make money..gefenia lvl 4,ice dungen lvl 4,juperos,bahtory place also give nice drops and good exp for u.. :-*..try making money with diff ways..so u will neva bored..

I borrowed niff gears from a friend to make my money :P
And niff isnt soooo bad when its crowded, u still make a decent amount of money.  I'd make around 800k-1mil in half an hour when crowded and 1.5mil when not.
Thing is, you can also sell leeches in niff, so you do the same thing you normally do when niffing, except you get paid to do it xD

i vote for ads and sell it to people and buy myself gears when i first start out... (gotta love my eddga)
or i can just use the ads (from voting or buy it from other player) to buy myself stuff that is too high on the market compare to ads price
i also farm and party up with people to hunt rare stuff that's appropriate for my lvl
do the gj quest and sell it in payon dungeon (if you sell it low, it get sell fast and u can just making more) - you need to have dual client for this so you can play and vend @ the same time or you have to vend it @ night
find a good person so you can share zeny and gears with, this will save you half of the items (and you get a friend to hang out with)
ask people on how to make zeny and try and see if that method work for me
i also make a merchant enough to do over charge, discount and vend for me on items
i often dont sell my loot until it get really big, that way i dont know how much zeny i have
there are a bunch of items in my storage that sit there and get rotten, but i like it like that, so when i need zeny desperately, i can just sell off those loot and never have to sell gears...
