Title: tips to leveling high merchant?

well, i'm going whitesmith, and some may say "Well, you got to 99 before, what's the problem?" the problem is, i did this over a long period of time, and can't remeber anything. i see guides saying i should have gotten tons of money from niffing, but i never made more then 300k a session, and then used lots of that to buy meats and GJ to keep going, seeing as no priest would ever party with me, i had it rough going through.

so now i have roughly 1.5 million, i've got some decent gears, but i'm missing the final IS on my mace, making it DBS- +10 mace, eddga shoes, i've got evil druid armor for mummies, soundproof (or whatever one disguise is) for niffing, a cranial buckler (for orcs, but it's my best one generally anyways :/) my hat is a moonlight one (so i only have to go to 21 in AGI and am able to get an extra point or two in vit and str) i have a spring rabbit clip, and a flu mask.

thing is, i've been told i should be doing alot more damage VS high orcs with my mace then i'm doing, currently i'm 51/36, and i deal 90-110 a hit to high orcs, and i miss at even 44 dex.

what am i doing wrong here?

what's your str at? you can try endowing ice to up your damage.

also baphomet in your mace lowers dex, that might be why you miss sometimes.

prison might be a better pick, since its mobable, and AMs use their nasty dark attack that can ohKO any merch without bathory

 just get another blacksmith(easy to make with ur gears, roughly extra hour), dual client, adre rush urself

and level at HO's (you need roughly 110dex to hit em most of the time)
or degrade to (aboves) until u get the hit


personal opinion: you did not mention any garment, maybe get a deviling before samurai(50% reduction>minor atk boost) when u can afford it

I prefer doing the BS/Adrenaline Rush thing, but on Galion/Roween mobs instead of High Orcs

well, i'm 56/37 now i believe (can't log in at the moment, cable company running maintenance so i'd lag like hell)

As for making anothr BM, that is not something i wanna do till i get my DBSS and all the better gears

I know about getting deviling, i just don't have the money, however, if i could sell my mystellyn boots (s?) and my other cards, i probibly could get roughly 10-20 million, no one just ever seems to buy from me :(

besides that, i remembered how to fight the damned high orcs, and my stats? i have 20 dex (more then enough with one of razers VVS ice maces ^_^ stupid bapho lowerin my dex ><) 40 vit, and the rest in strength.

still going slow though sadly >< although i expected the road back the BS, or in my case WS, to be a bit slower then last time, as i'm definately going for JL 50 before i class change.

I actually used a DDTP Blade on my high merchant even when I had a DSSB. I put up ice on it and spammed Cart Revo like no tommo on orc mobs. At around base 60 I went to niff and the best buff I had was an agi up but the exp was great once I managed to kill the mob.

problem is i have no money, i could make like 20 mil with what i have on me, but that would be tops, not even enough for a samurai card let alone getting two more doppels for a blade and other stuff T_T

although once i'm higher leveled, i was thinking about making a some other characters that might be usefull for :)

20mil is more than enough to get a +4 devi. (since those ones sell for cheaper than card price)

if you have a friend that is a BS, same thing.

Try to get a deviling garment as soon as possible.

I levelled my high mercs to job50 on louyangfield below louyangcity. Flame endows and deviling garment necessary.

You might not make a lot of money but you can worry about that once your char becomes a whitesmith.

Number one tip before becoming a high merchie: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE COMPLETE SET! EDDGA, DBS/DBSS, TIRFING, DEVILING X2 SPRING RABBIT, BLOODY KNIGHT, KAHO IS OPTIONAL!

Just go with another class for awhile to earn you some money like sin/rouge for cakes or sapphires for a bits will save you time and money in the long run. If you really want to train your high merch in high orcs or so, if you can weight your cart capacity almost to the max around 6000-8000 weight in it *roughly meats and gj's and so*. See if you can find some1 to endow you (ice) or get a ice falchion or stick with the strongest weapon you've got and spam that cart rev.

soul ring>kaho i terms of high merchie mobbing. Damage reduction is way better than str/dex bonus due to the lower HP count.
