Title: sidewinder card + sin?

Just as the title implies:

A sidewinder carded jur is useful because...?
Im just asking because the thief class has already the double atk skill.

Was wondering about it but i keeping forgetting to ask.
Back then i keep seeing people selling those.

A job lvl 50 thief have skill points to spare on the double atk skill.

And I don't want to search the forums cuz im lazy.

They put it there because without one you couldnt do Double attacks with a Jur, And the reason why they put it is because the atk speed of a Jur is faster than dual daggers (no doppels) so..... Also u can use a Chick hat if u dont want to put sidewinder in ur Jur

Oh, Didnt know that. Mine used daggers, and the only time I used katars when I used Hide+Grimtooth combo.

jurs are more commonly used for crit sins. double attack doesnt process with crit. i forgot which takes precedent but yea.

Crits over double attack, so if you had a sidewinder card in a jur, you wouldn't get many double attacks unless your crit rate was quite low.

whenever i attack with a jur it does two hits. Isn't that double attack?

No, Double attack is where one of those 2 hits hits a second time.

depends on defense actually....if u used katars(since no thana) you cant do more damage based on def-unlike an icepick dagger- so then the only way to regulate dmg is to use crits. plus the critlock comes in handy
