Title: Wht is the best char to start out with?(for $ making as well as lvling)

Well, I did start out with a swordie and later on became a pure agi knight, but i still depend on lots of meat, and its hard to lvl without any cards at all... A few moneymaking guides also involve things that take a lot of time...

As far as I know all the classes rquire cards, good equips etc for comfortable training.
Any suggestions?

inb4 ppl say bs to greed stray loots on nif

i find alchs with vanil pretty good for starters. they are powerfull enough to support the lowest geared person
the problem is that might require some jumpstart money, not much if you're lucky enough to get a vanil on 1st try

Aco -> Priest can make decent money. If you heal bomb in gh prison and pick up loots, you could make a bundle. I heard Crusader was good in niff, which is a place alot of people go to for zeny but I personally never tried it.

yea i understand what you mean, they burn money too  :-X

read around sins can be good too, steal/kill mobsters. i dont have sin class so cant say anything about how good/bad that method is

It's pretty good once you get enough flee to dodge the Mobsters. Get as many Sapphires as you can, give them to one of your Merch's and Overcharge the suckers xD

Make a Rogue on the side; and Mug/Steal coin's from Toy Factory 2.
Myst cases are fairly good EXP for a Second class, and you'll be getting quite a few Cakes and Cookies.
What I did was Keep the Cakes to sell, and use the cookies. (Some people sell them, but They never sold well for me)
I'm not sure what the price of cakes are now; but when I did it they were around 2-2.5K or so. (Long time ago)

Although more guilds are starting to use condensed White pots for Woe; there are still quite a few that use cake;
so be sure to try and get a Merchant up two hours before woe.

Saders are Okay for Nif. You'll need to be a high enough level to survive, and actually collect your loots.
The plus side is that you won't need tons of MvP cards to make money there. However you probably will
go through quite a bit of Zeny. A Crusader is a very good starting character. Even if you don't have MvP cards,
you can still survive in most places. You can also still be useful for partying with other players, due to your heal,
and devotion skills.

Another thing you can do as a Sader; is to get a Brocca and kill Loli's. Gene made a post quite a while ago explaining
how it was done; but that post, and the old forums are long gone. I believe Holy Cross+Brocca pierces defense.
Since Loli's have quite a lot; it was supposed to take them down quite easily. I can't remember exactly what he said.

As a Thief, you can make quick money by running through the Ygg Tree, and Sealing, then killing the plants there.
You'll get a ton of Herbs, plus occasionally you'll find Ygg Seeds/Berries. These can be sold for quite a bit, and unfortunately
quite a few people who frequent PvP enjoy using them. So you should be able to make good money there.

With the Herbs, you go to a potion maker in some of the towns (There's one NPC in Alberta that I know of) and convert them
to potions, then sell them. It's time consuming; but you don't need to be a high level, or invest anything to do it.
I believe Razer covered it in his Money making guide someplace. It's a good tip for beginners.

The mug/steal coin with the rogue is ok , i spose, but the my friend only managed to get abt 23k in 20 mins, bcuz the skill usually failed.

plus along with myst cases come annoying cruisers in bunches of 3s which really pisses me off..
A noobish thing... but i don't know how to get to yggdrasil01 map... i referred to databases and they dont mention it either.
