Title: WS OR Sniper?

I am wondering if you could help me i have saved up roughly 290m by selling all my paladin +  gears and zeny i got from drops.

I am now thinking of transing my hunter into a ws or sniper.

Which class is best overall for money making and mvp.

I am thinking of buying a ddt artemis due to diversity and can use different arrows so i can hunt lots of areas.


Or a dbs mjol? is it cheaper to make a dbs mjol or buy one?

make mjol more cheaper than buy one..not sure if it worth with the time you spend for it..i think it cost around 220m(including DBS card)..
did you mean you sell all your gear and only have 290m budget?
if you still have other gear especially for niff ,you can buy DDT Artemis and just buy DBSchain or DBSS mace for niffing..
in term of money making ,ws is more consistent and effective anyway..
if you only have 290m ,it not good idea to spend for DDT Artemis since you would lack other important gear..
if DBS mjol ,you still have budget to buy other niffing gear but just a budget for niffing and pvm purpose..

I will assume that you don't WoE. And that you've sold ALL your gears and items including kahos etc..

I suggest you get good niffing gears and just keep making zeny. /ok If you feel that you have more zeny than you need then maybe upgrade your niffing gears for more defense and HP. /ok
Snipers are not really for making zeny, in fact, I find myself spending a lot of zeny with it. xD

An Artemis costs around 240 mill at the moment. You will be left with 50 mill.  ??? That won't even cover the cost for kaho. =/

1 Ballista - around 2m
1 Rudra's Bow - around 2m
1 Bow Thimble - around 2m
2 Arrow of Counter Evil - 150k or your friend will give 1 for free
1,000 False Angel Wing - this is freaking easy to farm since the drop is like 100%
150,000,000 Zeny

so if u know how to get a cheap DDT card...it'll cost like 220~230m

In my experience I would recommend a Whitesmith.

With a DBSx axe/mjol/chain coupled with good gears, you can have fun exploring anywhere and can take on almost anything.

Mjol disadvantage in ways because of its element i would suggest just getting a DBSS mace gearing up a white smith and farming
certain things like babilan map 4 and south of alde city for stem worm cards and geffenia and niff also you can Mvp a bunch of things
with a good set of gears like orc hero,orc lord,tao gunka etc

 :laugh:

Hunter is also fun but not so mobby i did use sniper to farm money for my own slieps the first time around took me a month selling
drop cards etc so its really up to you do you want to bapho things or just snap shot things from afar.the potting meat for White smith
is also helpful.

good set of gear for White smith i like to use is:
Kaho (could be horns)
Gryphon or bk(or Di if you get DL valks)
pcb or not
Armr a nice Garm armr +7-10 (also you can get sets of armrs)
DBSS mace
Tirfing Guard
Devi muffler or manteau
Dl valks
Meg( if you later afford it)
Roast clip

or Hunter Gear: (stack for crit build)
Kaho
Gryphon
Pcb or not
Any status Armrs or garm
Monsoon or devi
Dl shoes
celebs or sting gloves

With this gear set up What shall i card my artemis...... (2x doppel + 1x turtle general card) or (1x dopple + 2x Turtle General Card)?

2 dop 1 turtle... the aspd makes up for the loss of dmg
