Title: double attack versus critical

if both double attack and critical hit are activated on the same attack, which occurs?

also, consider this.

double attack=50% chance
==> one double attack per two hits
==> 3xregular damage per two hits

crit=150% dmg (nearly 100% chance negates the def piercing effect, say)
==>two crits per two hits
==>3x regular damage per two hits

assuming both were performed with katars, which should i be trying for?

( i know katars don't have double attack, but you can do it with a chicky hat)

sidewinder card also gives double atk.

doubleatk goes over crits....(its probly better that way for DD sins)

i see. i'm a crit sin, not a DD sin.

if i were to pick from between a hat which gave me +10 crit, so i could lower my luk and increase my str for more damage..... (puppy)

or a hat which would allow me to use level 10 double attack with my katars, for extra damage......  (chicky)


which would you recommend that i choose?



EDIT :

 also note, i'm not using doppels.
 my katar is a +10 MMMA specialty jur. (+45% crit damage)

hmm. it depends on your lvl(cuz u know..takes a lot of luck for 40x2 crit)
and your gears(doppels, mobster, alligator, soldier skel cards yet)

and of course, the monsters def.
if you already have a chick hat, i`d definitely recommend that. that way u can put all your luck in str
puppy hat only activates gloria for like..10seconds at 1% chance, which is low.

if you already have like..+crit cards and crit gear, crits wouldnt need much luck either so crit

str = 63+7
agi=99+11
vit=13+2
int=11+4
dex=12+8
luk=51


gears : +4 Cubic Marionette Doll
          +4 Thief Clothes of the Stix [Loli Ruri]
          +4 Quick Hood [+10 Flee]
          +4 Shackles
          Bloodied Shackle Ball
          Teleport Clip
          +10 MMMA Specialty Jur

Did you try morrigane's set? It's just damn good for crit sin as far as i know...
