uhm are we ever going to have server maint? i mean come on the lag is so bad it's not fun to play the game anymore...

instead blaming server for lag ,it better you check your connection first..
lag usually come from your connection

my connection is just fine i play games that take alot more to play then this game...
and funny thing everyone that was in gh prison lastnight and this morning were lagn out dcing gettiing killed
cuz the game would freez for everyone then lol every body would be dead....i have a 2.5 ghz so uhm yeah...

same here. its not my connections i was running l4d at max reso and it was fine. we just had a maintenance or something earlier right? but ive been lagging and what not

I've said it once, I'm going to say it again:

l4d/CS/whatever, are not "benchmarks" that you should even be comparing to. Go find a canadian server, on the east coast, that hosts 500+ people on it, and find one that uses iweb as their ISP.

If you want to find out who the culprit is, you should do a traceroute on the server, and find out where exactly your ISP is saying fuck you to Anthem's ISP.  Because I know that Talis had some issues with a west coast server (test server) due to some University of Connecticut or some crap that the ISP kept trying to route through.

Other things to keep in mind: Mouse freedom sometimes plays a part in why people lag. ie: find that mouse freedom dll and delete it.
