Title: Can't delete characters

So I have been trying to delete one of my characters and it keeps saying that the email was invaild.
I've looked at other threads about this and have tryed changing my email but that didn't work either.
I also tryed copy and pasting my email adress and holding shift when pressing enter (i read in another thread) but that didn't work.

Anyone know who I can delete my character?

If your saying the account email is the same as the email you are entering to delete a char. on the char. selection screen then your best bet is a ticket.

Try logging the char. again at the AnthemRo Homepage/Edit Account and see if the email might be misspelled. *Never hurts to check

If they both matchup 100% (the email used for the account and email your entering to delete said char.) and this problem keeps happening, then try a Ticket: http://anthemro.com/support/

You're typing the wrong e-mail.
Type the correct e-mail and you will be able to delete it.
Chances are you're missing a lower/upper case somewhere.

make a new character and then try to delete the old one you was trying to delete before. this happened to me once and this is what i did to make it work.

I don't have any room left to make a new one. I wanted to delete this one to make a new one.
My boyfriend just deleted a character on his acount and that worked fine once he changed his email.

Your probly right. As that is the error people miss mostly with this problem. But you never no she/he seems like they checked it more then a few times. I'm guessing it could be something else. Best is to keep trying and wait on the ticket, hopefully this can be solved soon enough.

I have checked and I am typing the correct email adress, I have read other threads on this and they have said that sometimes even if you type the correct email adress in it might not work and you will need to change it. I have tried this also and it is not working. I have tried copy and pasting the email adress and it still doesn't work so I know that it is the correct email adress.

Usually, there's like an accidental space or something. So instead of just checking, you might want to copy and paste from the email edit account page into the "Enter email address to delete" box. It's funky, but it works a lot of the time :S Or something better, is to log into the edit account page, and change your email to like "deleteme" and that's all. Then log into RO and use "deleteme" as the email address and hit enter. That should delete your char without the help of a GM. Because that's how they do it too xD.

Yeah I tryed that.
Copy and paste didn't work either, My boyfriend couldn't delete a character so he was told to change the email to just one word and that worked for him. That also didn't work for me too. I'll keep trying untill I get a reply form the ticket, the if it works I'll cancel the ticket.

Had this problem a long while back.

The GM told me to change the email address to something else, like an alternative email - then try deleting the character - then change the email back to normal

Worked for me. Hope this helps
