Title: negative def?
Post by: tsukaza13 on April 09, 2009, 10:23:31 am
is it possible for def to drop below zero if you have less than 50 def while equipping a tao gunka card?

Yes. Ice Pick will miss on negative Def targets too.

Ice pick will miss, but if the attacker swaps to another Weapon, you are dead.

Unless you then remove Tao ;D

Swap to Ice Pick again.
And, If you remove Tao, you will have less MHP.

Swift I've used that to confuse some pretty stupid SinX....xD

Tao card is bad against me...I use spells /swt

If you're a SinX you can use a grimtooth to mitigate the def drop. With an endow it's a pretty plausible action. Good weap+Grimtooth+tao. Two grims isn't too bad either, imo.

what about PvM wise? is -30 def too crappy to play with?

It's 30% more damage from everything.....

Really depends on what you're fighting. To many it's a no in PvM. It does depend on your class though.

Personally I love def. Can never seem to get enough of it.

Dude you need def. If you truly want to use tao, do this. Use a tao and switch when it reaches a number congruent to your normal HP. Then you get the benefit without the negatives. Also, switch on tao when healing, makes the process faster.

Personally when MvP'ing if I didn't just go with my garm I went with an elemental armor corresponding with an elemental attack or attacks that the boss used frequently even better when carded with a skill that freezes, stones the minions in the process.

Just my suggestion anyway.
