what would be a good weapon to put it in? i have a knight, sage, blacksmith, assassin...

dont expect a lot with that 1 card >.>
sage dont need THAT doppel...but they can use Doppel dagger for faster autocast (never tried so nothing much i can comment) knight dont need doppel because they can level just fine with their Brandish/BB/Pierce. but they can still use that doppel if u slot into dagger blacksmith need that doppel in mace...but if u dont have eddga yet...u need to have more zenny for that doppel to be worthy assassin need doppel in dagger...hunting zenny with sin is actually decent with your low budget
good dagger is gladius...depends on your budget...but make sure the minimum refine is +7

i could buy a glad and over up it to +10..so go with that? im just hyped that i got my first one finnally... im just looking for something versitile and such... id really like to get one character to trans.... +85 base with all the characters i have rite now... i was trying to find something that would speed the process

you'll waste a lot of money trying to get a glad to +10 [if you have to buy the glads and oridecons]. and i say if you do make a +10 glad. just sell both ur dopp and glad for +10ddpt mg or +10 dbss mace

I think you should go with a +10 MG if you really want to go glad because cheaper alternative

Get a +10 Blade[4] and slot it in. Thats what I did with my first doppel. My Merchant, Knight, Assassin could all use it :P Apart from that I could make novices upto level 60 and then change them into other classes like mages or archers and I would reset stats to get great damage.
The second card should be another Doppel followed by a Phreeoni and finaly a Turtle gen. DDTP. [Sin] You will rock as a sin with this weapon. [Knight] You wont have fast pierce but you can always use bash and Bowling bash with your DDTP. [Smith] You can use overthrust with sword but it can break occassionaly so you must carry iron ores to repair it as well.

glad is 700k ish, 1 oridecon is 20k ish u do the math
carding a +10 DDTP mg is 75m +7 Glad DDP is 55m +8 Glad DDP is 58m +9 Glad DDP is 62m

Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. the thing is...he might gave up slotting all the card and it is hard to resell unfinished dagger/blade why would he card the dagger anymore when u can buy DDTP mg at 60~65m?

i dont gotta worry about the ori... i have wayyyyy too many... and the glads are that expensive? that doesnt seem rite but idk cuz i cant really log in or anything until i get offa work... i have a few from hunting kobolds in my swordy days... i just want something super versitile... rite now the blade sounds like a good idea....

Why a blade? You can't double attack with a blade. Merch, Swordie and Thief classes can all use daggers and sins can utilize it better while Merchies and Swordies use it the same way as a sword.
If you're gonna slot it, I suggest +10 MG (most useful since almost any other class can use it) or +7~8 Glad (buy rather than make probably). +10 Glad is too expensive.
The reason why new people would rather slot their on is because the 50-60 mil price range is a bit overwhelming. Most people would just slowly acquire their their stuff while being able to use 'em. If they sell the first one or two doppels they get, what do they have to earn the rest with?

razerman suggest blade...which mean equip your blade to your left hand...same thing when u used DDTP mg (maybe u use DDTP on right hand...bad choice)

sure go for blade but keep this in mind making a DDTP blade/mg is 75~80m while u can actually buy it at 60~65m only 15m loss~

dont be confused with size reduction if u use main gauche...u only lost 10 DAMAGE if u hit medium size monster...to me it's not that a big deal because will have more aspd with dagger and on some map...u might want to use your DDTP on your right hand..so u can swap weapon better

yeah u can do that but how long people can last especially for leveling? it's a good swapping practice but eventually u will get tired of it

All in all. Don't TRY to make a +10 glad. Slot it in either a +10 [4] blade/mg. And have fun!
You can also try trading your dopp card for an already slotted +10 Dxxx MG/Blade

He said versatile. Or something. Glad only a few classes can equip unlike mg/blade.
fail? only novice/SN, Aco classes, Taekwon Boy's/Master. cant use gladius and i know a few people that play sinx use their glad for other class as well

Dople blades are nearly worthless. You get a marginally higher atk and are then forced to spec alot more agi to get good aspd. Any and all skills that effect/require swords can also effect/require daggers, whereas there are dagger only skills such as double strike. Also, many more classes can use a dagger than can use a sword.
I would totally recommend a +10 DD mg to a new player as their first mvp-carded weapon.

well ive nvr rly used daggers but if i decided to i would go for ddp glad cuz i think its cheaper and a glad has more atk than a mg, not including the TG

i did that too... still couldnt find one that had no cards... im willing to buy a +10 mg for 3mil at this point.... or find a really good smith and give them all the stuff to make a +10 mg
