Title: Noob question

Ok i got a lvl 79 priest who has enough job lvls for a lvl10 magnus and still some extras for SW or sanctuary.

which of these 2 spells should i go for niffing? up sanctuary or SW?

2nd question is that is it safe for a 99 dex? add a bless i get IC but im too scared to use a 99 dex cause i get low int.

suggestions?

Go for sanc, IF you have KE.

The trick is not to just get a mob ME and sit there.
You have to get the mob KE, ME, then run in circles.
You'll be able to take much bigger mobs this way.

Thats kinda the drawback of IC, but your better off to get IC if you can since casting instantly and doing damage is better then having a cast time and having the chance of being attacked and the spell cancels out (unless you have phen but that has its problems too)

I think sw is better then ke since priests dont have that much hp. If you do get IC i think you're better off with sanc and ME.

I think safety wall is usually used for priest without IC, but sometimes there is lag and it gets

all bugged up. Kyrie and sanctuary can also work for non IC but you will also need some VIT

or KE or it won't be as good and it takes time to get good at moving around and making sure you

don't die. It is up to which one you want to do or is easier.

Usually, I go with lv 7 Sanct and lv 10 ME w/ IC.

At lv 7, Sanct can heal up to 777 hp, which covers at least two hits from a Dullahan. This also damages them and keeps the targeting you (so you won't lose your mob easily).

w/ SW, you can only be hit for a certain amount of times. When mobbing in niff you WILL be hit SEVERAL times.

However, the plus side of SW is that you will not be hit when its up, period. With KE you can still be hit. Unfortunately KE and SW don't stack.

Wow. Going into Skellington at 79 with no IC without max dex(Okay, maybe I did went there at level 72 as a Priest without any fancy gears and a retarded Magnus Exorcismus, so hmm - I guess it is okay). /swt

Umm... I suppose hearing what is one geared with would tell everyone much more of your capabilities of training in Skellington. If one is going in there with no IC, I suppose that you might have several complements to ensure survivability there):

1. Good Defense Rate with proper cast speed or excellent maneuvering.
2. Proper flee amount with an uninterruptable cast.
3. Planning to go in there with a small/controlled mob.
4. Status armors with good/excellent defense rate.
5. A companion to shield one from most attacks or give support.
6. Some crazy new revolutionary idea I do not know of.

Hmm... a bit of extra clarification is required. ._.

Max dex, low int is dangerous at that level(But I suppose you have a Kaho - so the impact is much, much less). But if you have a good defense rate and resistance or even a good cooldown, I suppose you could do that. Sanctuary would be a personal choice if you're going for IC, Safety Wall if you have proper cast speed and/or a status armor where Safety Wall is mainly a transition pathway for one to shoot in a cast, rather than damage resistance.

In regards to the SW vs KE thing, as you know SW blocks all attacks for that time period regardless of damage, but needs a BG.

KE on the other hand blocks hits DEPENDING on your HP, if its below a certain point it will be blocked, otherwise it just takes less damage = P.

I have a feeling I should explain more, but I'm feeling quite lazy so that pretty much sums it up, hope it helps.

KE = fail for low hp priest
Tell us you dex+int or whatever dex you have so we can help you. Include equipment too. For you level I suggest churchyard if you don't have IC yet. Lure a decent amount of mobs, maybe 5 then cast max level sanctuary to kill them.
Alternatively, if you have like 0 decent equips, use turn undead on zombie priosner. Once your level is high enough, you can turn undead ancient mummies.
I know casting ME is cool and nice, but be realistic. /heh

well i been doing the niff all day today by doing a sanc and ME w/ IC seems good since i got to lvl84 doing that

I will try Firemousey's idea but i think ill be fine at this point
