...just wanted to say hi to everyone
oh i have a question like is there an update or something going on? cuz i cant log in... im failing to connect to server

Not sure, but try running your patcher if you haven't already? Presumably it would have, but it's something to try if you downloaded the client previously and only just registered an account and tried to log in.
Keep trying, and if you still can't figure it out ask again.
