i was sitting around in gonryun and some random dude i dont know just came to me and asked if i wanted a DDMM jur for free and of course i said yes(he said he was going to go to WoW) after he left i got suspicous of something... why would he give some random person something so valuable... i dont know if he hacked it from someone but im just asking if anyone is missing a DDMM? just from curiosity Name was: Marco_Polo

lucky you i think....if it was hacked and the person sent support soon i guess keeping it for now would be wise, if u wake up and its gone...well i guess its recovered

already sent a support ticket though hmm
it could be hacked from someone who was taking a break

Hm. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Even if it is stolen, by you sending in a ticket, you've shown that you weren't the one to steal it. If I were you I wouldn't sweat it. o: it'd be unfair and unjust to ban you for someone else dropping a stolen item on you. /ok

you could sell it but it would just give more work to the GM's just to reverse it. (say..that s.jur goes to 5other ppl :D) no point in the end. heh, you could use it if u didnt own doppel dags lol. (but i think you do)

nah man, dont sell it yet. You sent a support ticket right? Just ask the GMs if it was a legit, and they'll respond quickly since all they'd have to do is search their own tickets for someone saying they lost it. So just be patient ;)

Takes awhile though, never know if that person hacked it and then trade and trade and trade again (which is most unlikely odd) but yeah selling it won't do any good cause if it was hacked you'd get your money back anyways. Just use it for your leveling *if you want* and if they do the reverse trade then at least you gained something from it. :angel: Levels!

Just to let you know there was a really nice Alchemist in Payon 1 awhile back who kept dropping her items. They weren't anything as valuable as the Jur, but they still weren't NPC items either. She said she was quitting RO and wanted to share her items among the players.
So sometimes people do just want to give things away!
And give the GMs awhile to respond. They always have a ton on their plates.

i haven't read any of the posts but for future reference, "did someone lose a weapon recently?" would've been a better title. Doesn't hurt to ask the GMs to trace the item back though.

yea but anyone could be all "OH ITS MINE" and unless you hear from a GM you've no way to prove if they're lying or not. If the description of the lost item is vague, people will start naming what they lost, then you can PM whoever lost what you have. That's how you figure out who's lost item it really is. Of course they can still get lucky, which is why i'd proly ask a GM as well ;P
