Title: (GM input needed) Steam + AnthemRO= Illegal?

OK I have a steam account and I have Anthem as a shortcut in it. If I open Anthem using this shortcut it intergrates it with steam so i can still check up on thing and chat and stuff. Is this somehow illegal or considered using another client?

I doubt it but I'd rather know than get banned for it...

I'm pretty sure this is perfectly legal.  It doesn't modify the client in any way it just puts an overlay on the game window to let you chat and whatnot with your Steam friends.

I thought duel clienting was allowed anyways? (In reference to his concerns about it being another client)

This isn't dual clienting, it's using kind of a... client add-on, but not something that modifies game play.  I would assume there shouldn't be a problem, but I still recommend not doing it until you get word from a high GM to know for sure.

I feel the same way. But I'd feel better about doing it if a GM gave me the ok. /ok

Send a forum message to one of the gms? or support ticket? seems like this thread hasnt been noticed at all  :-\

xD Yea that happens to me a lot. Especially in real life affairs too. I'm used to it and have a great amount of patience thanks to that, so I'll wait as long as I have to. /no1

Oh well I'll do it and keep the link to this thread as a reference that I didn't get an answer. I just hope we were all right about it being ok.

Might be considered Illegal since you're using a third party program. Dunno though, might let it slide, who knows @_@

Yeah I would go ahead and PM a GM, although I'm 99% sure this doesn't do anything to the client.

my method is ask question...wait for 3 days..if they dont answered..then i use it (im using some stuff that i dont know if it's legal or not so wth)

Did you PM a GM?  If you still haven't gotten an answer I would just use it.  If I'm wrong you can just blame it on me. >.>
