For the now 'enforced' rules, can we have a clarification thread, or rpely in mine and sticky?

It's not too difficult. It's all common sense really. Cussing is fine. Excessive cussing is not. Anything vulgar/gore/obscene is not. Anything that puts down any sort of religion/sexual orientation/creed/nationality/ethnicity is not. What else do you need "clarification" on?

Was just wondering how far its being held, to what extents, etc.  :3  ..Though, waiiiit.  Okay, gore..so, if some wamnts to go OT about like um..surgery, and just mention parts of it..not okay?

You can you know, just not get into every little detail of it which would then make it gory? There's a difference between just saying something, and then going overboard and doing it excessively.

Alright.  When I first got home, I was greeted with how the forums were now completley swear-free.  So, that clears it up.

A little OT: Are you gonna go and just wipe the forums, since a lot of it doesn't reflect the new enforcement?

So since picture of players is revealing Personal Information (Looks etc of a person, easy to pick out people irl etc) will it be locked to?
if we're going to Push the rules, push them everywhere? :/

He should be happy oO; he could have (and probably should have) been slapped with a perma ban. Other people get perma banned for shit talking the GM's

Common sense.

Inappropriate material includes, but is not limited to the following text or images:

    * Gore, Hentai and Ecchi images, Pornography, disturbing images or posts, racism, and excessive violence.
    * Racial/Ethnic Hatred, Racial/Ethnic Slurs, Symbols of Racial/Ethnic hatred, or National Slurs/Hatred. This also includes negatively portraying religion and creeds, along with all religious figures.
    * Inappropriate language, attempts to bypass the forum language filter, or any questionable material
    * Sexually Explicit or Violent Acts or Extremely Violent Acts.
    * Real Life Threats.
    * Insults of personal sexual preference pertaining to the original poster or another player.
    * Distribution of any personal real-life information.
    * Obscene or vulgar discussions. (bodily functions/human anatomy that are considered obscene or vulgar or pornographic in nature)
    * Harassment of any form. Insultingly referring to players, Anthem Staff Members, other server staff members, or any groups of people.
    * Ban Evasion: This includes posting on another forum account, whether it is of the banned player, on a friend's account, or having someone post on the banned player's behalf.

Personal information:

Entails: Phone numbers/ScreenNames/etc without permission. Photos are posted by the players themselves. Which is fine.

Just like any personal information, you can post your own picture in Pictures of Players if you feel like it; it's totally voluntary. You post knowing full well that any consequences would not be aRO's fault, but rather, your own.
Basically, I would not stop someone from saying that their name is John Doe, but I would definitely edit a post if it somebody other than John himself said it. At least, that's how I read that rule.

Any is bolded in the rules meaning pictures >_> this rule contradict the other rules set >_< because a Picture is real-life information is it not, I don't want the thread locked but you should reword the rule differently >_>  :-\

I'm not disputing your point that a person's picture is personal real-life information - I agree with you there.

What I'm saying is that if a person wants to post his or her own picture, that's their business and the moderators probably won't stop them.
If that person crosses the line by posting somebody else's picture without permission, however, we would be forced to act.
(Of course, any other mods can correct me if I'm mistaken, but this is my understanding of this rule.)

EDIT:
I almost forgot to mention: if the staff feels that anything needs to be tweaked or added, we'll do so. You don't need to paste the same point across multiple threads to get our attention.

Dreamer, quit trying to find loop holes and then concentrating on them. Something of that nature really, really doesn't matter. If you post your own picture or phone number whatever, fine. But don't come crying to the GM team afterwards. Stop being a little kid about the whole thing. You know what it means, everyone else knows what it means.

We shouldn't have to reword the rules differently, people should stop trying to think of ways to get around the rules or bend the wording to make things work their way.
