Title: Ensemble Songs

I know "stand alone" songs don't affect the bard/dancer unless they are linked, but what about ensemble songs? i never tested it til today with loki's veil. I was using Eternal Chaos and was able to use Musical Strike, but then used Loki's Veil and couldn't use it, which leads me to think ensemble songs affect both artists without needing any link whatsoever. Does this mean that if i play MR. Kim A Rich Man while gettin leeched it will boost my exp? O.O cuz that'd be awesomeness

#2: I think when you use a duet. The Gypsies half of the song can/will affect the clown, and the clowns half of the song will affect the gypsy. Since Loki's Veil shuts down skills, it prevented you from using musical strike. I'm sure the gypsy probably can't either.
#3: This isn't something I've tested or anything, just what seems to make the most sense considering the post and what RMS says about Loki's Veil. If I'm wrong someone please correct me :o

actually loki you can use skills you have to use the skill longing for freedom :3 it works for me when i start it and use longing for freedom then im able to use throw arrow

now here is prob why u are having trouble if you are linked and you do a duet you cannot use longing for freedom sooo dont get linked it happens to me alot i get linked while using a duet and when i try to use longing i cant which means no throw arrow if you go to pvp public i can show you if you like ;x just need a clown

Songs will never affect the clown or gypsy themselves without a link.  There is a skill called Longing for freedom that will allow a clown/gypsy to move about in the duet and use some skills, but in a duet, only one of the two people can use longing.  However, if both are linked, any duet will affect both of them, so technically, if you had enough people, you could link yourself, play Mr. Kim, and then leech for better exp, but I'm not sure if your leecher would need to be in the duet or not, I've never tested that particular duet.

Bottom line: Duets work the same as solo songs, they will not affect the clown/gypsy without a link.

i think the monster needs to be killed within the Duet to gain the exp boost :P
