so im gnna buy gryphon valk helm. however im not sure how much it costs but i think am abt 70 mil away. Should i sell my kahos to get them? I have a whitesmith that im worried abt. How bad will my smith be if i sell the kahos and just use those?


OO im buying the helm for my sniper. so it will be good on that,
should i sell my kahos or just keep grinding away? till i get the 70 m

Umm im pretty sure a gryphon valk helm costs about 165mil. So i say dont sell ur kahos.

To give you an idea of how expensive a valk helm alone costs, this is the ingredients + zeny required to make it after you pass the sqi arena


1 Angel Helm
1 Angel Wing
1 Angel Wing Ears [1]
1 Spikey Band
1 Mistress Crown
1 Bone Helm
1 Queen's Hair Ornament
130,000,000 Zeny

As you might be able to tell, it can be a bit of an expensive process to make, + a card that's worth 17 in ads, adds up to quite a bit.  The price is roughly going to be somewhere in the range of 150+, 150 probably being the lower end of the scale, and highly unlikely to find.

Depending on how you want to play in the future, I would advise you use your whitesmith to simply continue to get zeny from nif and buy the helm seperately, and keep your kahos, they're very handy for other classes that you may want in the future.  You may find yourself being very sad you ever sold them if you do.  Snipers are not exactly money making machines IIRC.

sniper is still fine with kaho but duo gryph with arty is sexy

during the ads are 750k
i used to made a lot di/gryph valk helm to sell at 160m
and the total cost is actually around 155m-156m (assumed u buy all stuff at prontera and i usually buy angel wing at 1m-1.7m)

start with the wep first i'd say. you can still use kahos....on both chars. nowadays i see lots of soul rings at niff

valk helm it's really usefull in niff with a BS/WS class for the + 20 vit is a ton more HP and deff. so i would just say that you can use the valk on any char. and you will do fine. but just stay in niff and make some more money. and try saving the SQI ingridients first and keep saving up money you can pretty much hunt all of them or make them, like

those you can hunt with angeling and make the angel helm. ut takes time. you can still do it and just  kill angeling tons of times.
but you will be saving money. the rest of the ingridients are pretty cheap and you can hunt them if you get a friend to ice wall maya. you can kill it but so can your  friend. good luck.
